Turbos are labeled by their compressor wheel and airflow potential, not what the compressor cover says the turbo was prior to machining.

Put a 20G compressor in a 14B cover and you have a 20G turbo, not a 14B turbo.

I didnt have a tdo6 housing but I had the 20g tdo5. No dyno numbers but I ran an 11.3 at 119 with it if that helps!

Well done man. I didn't think these turbos could make power like that.

Guess I hold the record for most hp on a 20g turbo.:hellyeah:

That's some good power. You're making 440 on a Mustang Dyno, while the top guys in the Dyno challenge page are using a Dynojet which reads higher than a Mustang.

I ran a 20G for a couple weeks in October. I never got it on the dyno, but my 16g made 438AWHP on a Mustang dyno when it was running 129mph at the track. When I ran the 20G with the same setup it went 130mph in the 1/4, so that's gotta be worth a few more HP.

Are any of you guys using the new 20G wheel from eBay?

I would also like to know this.

Can someone post pictures of both compressor wheels, maybe side by side so we can see the difference in lade shape and whatever else.

I have an ebay 20g compressor wheel, but IDK if it is the new version or the old one.

What turbo does the community want us FP Green users to put then? "Big Turbo"? I mean the closest thing on that list is 20g. Soooo. "Hybrid" is kinda dumb.

Hybrid is the best way to describe the turbo, but if you could put "FP green" it would more detailed, most people know the components in an FP green. Maybe we need more choices for turbos options on the drop down.

How about FP Green record...?

Wrong thread, this is about 20g record, 20g compressor wheel LOL:p
this might help: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/284283-fp-green-max.html

That dyno was done on the hots and most humid day of the year on a good cool night the car would easily make upwards to 460hp.

The turbo it just a stock mitsu 20g tubo not even ported no ebay stuff......and oh yea td05 housing:shhh:

So is it a 20g mated with a td05 turbine and a td05 turbine housing? or do you mean a td05 style compressor cover machined for a 20g?

That's one of the quirks of the '20G' You can use a TD05 or a TD06 compressor housing on it, and it can be paired with TD05h, TD06, or TD06h turbine wheels and a few different turbine housings. As long as it has a 20G compressor wheel.

Gotta love that OEM compatibility, plus reliability

So if we are brainstorming on how to max out a 20g compressor, what do you guys think the best combo would be?

td06 style compressor cover, td06h turbine with a 8cm td06 cyclone housing? I know people who have machined td05
8 cm BEP housings to fit td06 wheels, which would be better than using a 7cm machined for a td06 wheel.

I know the td05 wheel does not flow enough for the 20g compressor wheel to be maxed out. The td06h would be a great match. I know the td06sl2 would be the best option due to its design, but its not an OEM component, and rebuilding the turbo can be a problem if its not an reliable component.

I know FP uses an Aero td06h wheel that they sell. Its used in their FP green I believe, but its a lot of money for a turbine wheel.
