Ok I have some concerns. Im in the process of getting my car ready to be tuned. I have dsmlink v3 lite. I am not doing the tuning because that aspect is a foreign language to me. I was trying to mess with my idle though to at least try and dial that in a little better. (I have an AEM Wideband...
I have a 5 spd AWD and have never messed with transmissions before until this past winter. I had a crack in my bellhousing so I replaced it. In the mean time I printed out every diagram I could find on it and taped it to the wall in front of my work bench. I took everything apart and inspected...
Ok in the freezing pouring down rain I was pulling fuses. When I pulled the 40ampalternator BAT. Fuse the light was gone. It has one wire white with a red stripe on it and goes into the harness that leads over to the alternator area. Is this the single power wire that feeds all the goodies over...
Ok I've been battling battery draws for a while now. I hooked up a test light (non led) between the negative terminal of battery and the cable. Fully lit up the light. Ended up pulling the main 80 amp alternator fuse and waalahh the light went out. So I felt fright and rewired the alternator...
I was going to recomend the same thing. I always have a few cans stored in the garage. For the price the stuff is unbelievable. I just cleaned the seats on my DD subaru maybe and your who with it. Can't go wrong with "Turf Stuff "
Well ended up costing 53$ to get it back. Found out there was also stolen credit cards and other stuff in the car when it was found. Nothing was missing and the car wasn't wrecked of trashed either. They drove it off into a muddy field and left it with. The doors open so it got all wet and Now...
Well I finally have a few minutes to talk about my last day. Yesterday was my birthday so it was a crazy day as it is. Worked for 10 hours then got home to rush to the DMV to get new stickers for the cars. Get all that done and I decided to go to the ford dealer and check out a suv I saw online...
Ok it gets better. I had my sending unit in the back of my DD to solder a wire at work.
Well last night my FU**ING DD got stolen! I will start a thread to vent later tonight. Stand by
Figures the one extra part I don't have! However shouldn't I be throwing a CEL if the sensor is on its way out?Ok got to mess around with some things tonight and your not going to believe this one... I kept testing things and everything was passing. Well I knew my fuel pump oring was messed up...
Ok guys I got home when it was dark so I had about no time to fiddle tonight. However I was starting to think the power transistor was bad. I replaced it with a spare and im still having the same symptoms. The more I think about it it has to be a spark issue. If it was fuel it would stutter...

Water in gas.. maybe? It hasn't been driven alot in the past year but has had the same tank of gas in there the whole time. It doesn't have any security system on it. Im in retard mode this morning what is an AFR sensor? And restarts are a bi*** right after. Acts like its getting flooded almost...

what the symptoms are is I start the car it idles nice I can even rev it. A few seconds later it just shuts off. No shuddering...
Are you sure that the cam gears would line up to 5 degrees as well? I figured they would differ from the crank? I have an adjustable timing light but I thought that the ratio at which the cams and crank spun would cause a different reading...
So I have an ideaInstead of me trying to rig this broken lower timing cover onto my car (I know people freak out when someone doesnt use the lower timing cover) I was wondering if someone that already has their timing set could do me a favor. I know the cam gear lines would obviously...
Blown fuse? My car died once while driving without any warning and I checked the fuses and I blew a fuse that is in the little fuse box right on the + battery connector.
