& Just for clarification you are talking INNER Bearing on the Front Balance Shaft as we all know there is no need to remove the REAR Balance Shaft Bearing.

& the Troubleshoot here typically starts with Checking your MPI Fuse.

Check for significant Oil Pressure changes too as it may then be a Balance Shaft Bearing.

You need to replace EVERY old original Coolant Hose on your car - 1 Gallon of Antifreeze will service the entire System - Why not replace Thermostat & Flush your Radiator, Motor & Heater Core while you are at it?

& that hose looks like it's possibly been softened from a Power Steering Fluid leak so it might be time to replace EVERY O Ring on the P/S pump too.

3:Put new gasket on turbo drain line where it meets the pan, its leaking.Don't forget it could be the Copper Crush Washers on those teeny ass fasteners, they leak more often than the gasket does - Those are THRU HOLES into the Pan - I had to tap mine to American 1/4-20 & used the round part...

& when Thermostat questions come up I always recommend using the VENTED one with the little bypass hole in it.

& EVERY HOSE~! - Might as well change Thermostat while you are in there - From what you are saying you need to try & determine age of Timing Belt also - & ALL the above are a MUCH higher Priority than Plugs & Wires IMO - NICE FIND~! - Don't screw it up.

& get of rid of the damned Water to Oil Cooler while you still have a Motor capable of generating a leak~!

Fans are powered from the Fan Relays on Passenger side Fender well - Relays are powered by AC Switch in Dash & Temp Switch at lower Passenger side of Radiator.

Center Bearing Had A Bolt Wrung Off--------------------------------------------------------------------------------I had this single "click" when changing from Forward to Reverse - Not a buncha clicks like a CV Joint... & not the low "clunk" you get on an AWD when you load the rear end...

Just delete your Water to Oil Cooler, cut the Oil Filter Bolt off to a shorter Length & Loctite it back into your existing OFH, your Oil Filter will then seat directly on the OFH, that will give you Downpipe clearance - Then plumb up an Air to Oil Cooler off the unused ports at the front of your...

When the Fluid is level with the Fill hole & therefore runs back out of the Fill hole... it's full - Fm the VFAQ:After about 2.3 qrts, remove the hose and see if any oil leaks out of the filler plug hole. If none does add more oil, if some does wait till it doesn't leak anymore then replace...

That Head is DEAD - throw your old MLS gasket in the shitcan - Swap Cams & put on the new Head - Your Balance Shafts may have seized to pop that T/Belt so have you done a BSE?????

Fix the starter & or Battery - & Set Base Timing & Base idle per the VFAQ or you'll be rebuilding this thing all over again.

With an Aftermarket Oil Temperature Valve to go along with your Atermarket Air to Oil Cooler that's a perfectly good OFH for your Turbo - You do NOT want the Water to Oill Cooler Setup although all it would take is the longer Oil Filter Bolt & the Cooler to go that route with THAT OFH.
