How did it do with temps underhood? Was your radiator and fan setup enough to keep it happy on this trip? Love the updates and photos so far, very inspiring.
What exhaust manifold to head stud kit is that? I like the blue hue tying into the rest of the bay. That's an impressive manifold and turbo combo you have!
Good job this weekend on your first 10sec pass, I talked to you right after you made it back to the pits and found the oil trail. Hope you can get this fixed quickly and get back out there.
Welcome back. I found my Laser a couple years ago and have been collecting parts ever since. They're still out there, you just have to be ready to jump on them.
Once you dial in some camber, yes the upper edge of the tire will tuck in more for you. Ultimately there's a few guys on here saying a staggered offset front to rear on a 1g is ideal. Something like a +42mm front and your +35mm for the rear.
I was hoping that was the thread you had used as I was just looking at that when you replied. Thank you. Are you going to make it to Norwalk this weekend?
Fyi the last comment on this thread is almost 9 years old. It looks like the member you are replying to hasn't been online here in about a month and a half. Maybe he will come around again soon though.
I really hope that's an option. I snuck into NABR over 10 years ago but lost track of it ever since. Wealth of information on there that few these days have the desire to seek out.
Advance Auto Parts purchased CarQuest a few years back. Napa, car dealerships, and other parts stores all get their batteries from Interstate Batteries here in town. They do the labeling. So if they mess up, easier to just slap another sticker on top to fix it.
Konis haven't been available for awhile for 1gs. I'm unsatisfied with an agx/pro-kit combo so Feals are next for me. No decent out of the box strut option for the GC kit anymore.
Mechanical timing refers to your timing belt since it keeps both of your camshafts in sync with your crankshaft. Changing your cas will only throw off your ignition timing.
Ha I had a feeling that would be your answer. I was planning on having to do that or try Buschur's option in the future.http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/buschur-racings-new-torque-converter-bolt-retainers.479703/
How do you keep your converter bolts tight run after run?! Congrats on the new numbers, been following since the first 1320 and 20g dyno vids popped up.
Flywheel step height is crucial to clutch engagement. Also, each brand of clutch can sometimes have a different step height spec that they need from the flywheel for their clutch products to fully work as designed. The link above to TRE for proper adjustment is crucial for you.If you get...
My vote goes to TCE brakes as well. He is still active in our community and has kits designed specifically for our cars rather than just making a kit of what "fits" on them.
