Ecmlink V3 has Direct access files to over come the ISC issues. I am running a 2G ECU with V3 and SD on my brothers Evo.It is missing the Idle switch pin you can also use ECMlink V3 to simulate the idle switch.

You will have to adjust idle warm using the BISS and throttle stop, I have removed both on my car. When the car is cold you will have to hold your foot on the throttle till the temperature gauge reaches normal operating temp. Once that happens it will idle rock solid.It is a bit annoying but...

Fan should be fine Most fmics require trimming of the crash beam, I have been running with out a crash beam for years now. The bumper will need trimmed as well.
I have a GT4094r but haven't got to run it, thinking about getting rid of it, has less than 100 miles. Still has the white paint on the compressor wheel. Have you looked at a ball bearing PT6768?
