I've been doing it for over 20 years now with the drilling machine and never had any leaks. That tells me you are doing something wrong, maybe not enough grinding paste.
I know it can be done, but only few peaple have done it . It's easier to just get a shif box from Forced four, it's fully programmable, just like having standalone TCU.
For non believers Mahle are very strong pistons . This is mahle piston on Eagle rod after 50+ psi of boost pulls, all I had to change was the rods ( 300M this time ) the pistons where ok so I re used them & still are performing good @ 42 + psi street driven .
Looking at you log you do have a lean condition . The 14.1 afr that you see is afr est (target that the ecu is trying to get )car is not in closed loop .
There is a easy way to do that, all you have to do is to find Translab shift kit installation instruction, you will need a 1/8 drill bit to do the adjustment .
True 2g or Evo timing nap is better than 1g map . But before any changes , what fuel (oct) & boost are you planning to run ? Here is the timing map so copy and paste to ecu (only max oct timing )
everything starts with setting up idle (engine at operating temperature) , so post a log if it & I will check it out . Btw do you have installed wide band cause it's needed for wot tuning .
The cells are being used only on decel there is no load on the engine there the for you will only use those cells only on decel so go ahead and change them all of the cells above idling cell can be changed.
At what rpm are you fully boosted ? I'm in the process of installing s369sxe & can't find any data about spool ( top mount ts , 1.0 ar , I'm 2.3 so full boost (42- 44 psi ) should be about the same as you with 2.0 btw I'm auto too .
What was the ptw clearance with the pistons you have pulled out cause most likely you will have a big piston slap with the npr pistons (low expansion). As for the rods it can be done .
A proper prep work of the block & head is essential , I use cometic gasket with no problems (no oring) for 3 years @ 44 - 50 psi . What didn't like the high boost was my eagle rods haha gasket was still good l19 / 95 lb
Why don't you tray to choose one of the wb from link menu before , for example choose plx wb & see if the gauge will match link . Your wb is using Bosch LSU4.2 sensor so is aem & the rest of them.
Come down, it's a simple procedure to find the proper voltage . You can also try to use the different wb names from the link menu sometimes it works . Read this...
this is what you need http://www.ecmtuning.com/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=36 or you can buy a used one from members here. That will allow you to tune & re tune your car ...
To use the wb as linear wb you have to enter the voltage you self in the wb tab wile the data log is open & pc connected , but before that you have to find the proper voltage .
What are you using for tinning ? If link I can help you to turn the car & I'm pretty sure lot of people here will . The best thing is to learn your self how to tune your own car (of course with the proper guidance)
I know displacement has nothing to do with broken spring I just don't get wtf is causing the spring to broke (not even 2 years old ) . I have finished brand new engine 2.3 vader rods wiseco hd pistons 60 miles on it and I have to replace one piston (got lackey with cylinder wall) not to...
Is there a general rule for this ? Every company that sales valve springs is advertising the spring pressure & RPM, but non of them are saying anything when is the time to replace them.
Before I have switched to 6466 t4 ts I was running 6266 in 0.82 ar for 4 years & must say that turbo looks the same as the day I got it . Again I was boosting 42-44 psi & on occasions 50 psi . I just don't have problems with pte , maybe cause both of them are dbb gen 2 turbos . I also have t4 ts...
