ok so ive just thrown my new motor in my gsx and when i go to turn the key on i get no check engine light, now oil pressure light, and no battery light. i do have the battery relocated to the trunk could this be a lack of ground.... please give me some input thank you very much.
ok so i just threw my spare motor in that i bought off some kid. everything is hooked up and grounded so i threw my ecu in but i did no bolt it up its just laying on my rug. i have fuel but no spark... is the ecu grounded threw thew mounting bracket? thank you
ok ive searched but im putting together the beast ( lol ) and im checking the clearance i believe there fine but i would like some advice to make myself feel better the clearance with the plastigage is showing .002 in on all of the mains.. here is a pic.. not the best but i tryed haha
I'm ready to start putting things together. I know Mitsu says the oil clearances should be within .0009-.0020, so what color plastigage should I use? Thank you.
alrighty well i believe most of you have seen the build im doing and my question is do you need to use plastigage even with a new crank, rods and bearings? ive read all about plastigage and im still kinda shakey on the subject lol thanks guys

ok so im starting to put everything together found out the end ring gap stuff and i think i ran into another problem it looks and feels like theres way to much side to side play with the rod or is this normal for performance rods and pistons thanks

i just ordered a new 225 fuel pump dumb me didnt notice it said 225 hp but they also list a 225 lph whats the difference if any... also i read the descriptions for both and it didnt say any difference.

hey i just bought a gauge that shows vac press. also when i idle its at 0 and when i rev it it goes to -10 is that right... i thought it was suppost to be -20 at idle? does this mean vacum leak thank you
