Unfortunately they do have to be pressed in and they are a PITA. Using a 12ton press will get you by, but it will be a struggle. If you have access to a 22ton press or larger I would recommend using that.
My old setup I had some bc 272/272 and stock springs. This was a good setup even for 18lbs that I daily drove it on. It pulled well and I had no issues, just make sure you keep an eye on a wideband
I'm not really looking to go with something as costly as viper, I know the 530t is an option but I'm looking for an all in one module. I know there are modules out there to use for auto start something that will piggy back off the factory alarm system, I've been searching the internet for 2 days...
I'm in the process of an AWD Swap on my 98 GS-T. What I'm looking todo is make it to where when I stick the key in the drivers door and hold it on the lock position it will close my sunroof and roll my windows up. I would like the same function for putting them down. I know this is a convenience...
A buddy of mine came across a similar situation down here in FL. However he came to find out that the car had a spun rod bearing and snapped T-Belt. I would say drop the pan and double check everything before you think about any kind of cash to offer. If all is well I would off no more that...
You will need more than just the trans, you will need different t-case, tranny, and rear end gear set. also i believe the cv axles are different. Everything in your current setup is geared for an auto no manual and they are different. Try searching "AWD Auto to Manual Swap"
I had the same problem as you are describing, a couple of things you can try are unplug the single wire for your temp gauge and ground it. There are two sensors there one for the ECU and one for the gauge cluster. Have you tried a radiator flush? My problem turned out to be the headgasket I...
I can tell you right now that its going to be difficult to install the A/C back into that car with the compressor out. You practically have to lift the engine a good 6-9 inches up to get the compressor back in there with all the bolts. And yes you will need to get the drier replaced. You will...
the easiest way to replace that sensor is to unbolt it and cut it off if your trying to take it out of there, when you install the new sensor, you won't have to take the t-belt off if you come up around the top of the oil case and bend the t-belt to allow the front part of the sensor to be...
Any know of any cheap auto transports. looking for somewhere in the price range of $500 to tow a car from Belpre, OH to Gainesville, FL. Has to be door to door service and the car is a 95 tsi awd
When I shut down its pushing coolant into the overflow tank. Im still cleaning parts, I'll give an update later on today. As it turns out the cam sensor was flipped 180 from what it should be causing me to run lean and get hot, also did a radiator flush and found a whole bunch of stuff in the...
I have to run the ebay fans for the time being, the stock fans will not fit due to the radiator size (2R) of it would hit my WG and IC piping. And I have bled the system of air. The fans I bought are rated for 1200 CFM, however I do realize that they are most likely not capable of this. My old...
So I have a major cooling problem, just as a short background I just put a stock 7 bolt motor back in my car. First time I drove it and got into boost it started overheating, so I figured to change out the Radiator for an aluminum one. That temporarily solved the problem. Got it back home from...
Yesterday i was trying to change the crank angle sensor on my 96 n/t and in the process of pulling it out it broke off at the block. I tried running a self tapping screw into it to pull it out but all it did was break off. Does anyone have any ideas for pulling that off. Is it possible to take...
yes i did this, and found both pages. but that part of the window is good. the very back bracket is very loose. i shall make a video when i get home tonight.
Ok i have a big problem with my passenger side window. When I roll the window all the way down or partially down, and close the door it sounds like the whole door is going to fall off. When i bought the car i had to replace the passenger side door handle and discovered the previous owner had...
the same thing happens to me. on mine it sounds like a chain going across the ground. like when your towing a trailer and you have the emergency chains hit the pavement, sorta sounds like that but its only after 4-5k.
haha ya ill agree about the whole honda thing:beatentodeath:. but ya its a good size parking lot for us dsm's. i don't know how i would do not much of a racer, more of rally type of person, going long distance at high speeds is fun for me.
ya thats what it is called. and the mall is by no means big, not (at least by my terms) by comparison to The Florida Mall down in orlando but thats a different topic. you still know its on 200. i know that every sat night on 200 theres a whole bunch of hondas boys out there. like in the BK...
thank you lots. for a moment i thought it was going to be another dead thread considering when i searched for it there was only 2 threads from 2004. lol. but thank you now i know what i need to pull from the junkyard :D
I have been looking into putting cruise control into my car, but i cant seem to find out what parts i need or how or where to install them. If anyone knows ### let me know i really would like to have it considering on long trips your foot gets tired of being attached to the gas pedal ROFL The...
