the biggest thing I could tell you is to learn how to use your Link. what version do you have? you will be able to learn a lot be just playing around with it before you actually try and tune anything. then I would do a good once over of everything done to the car, and make shure everything is...
the best thing for you to do is stop driving the car(before you blow the motor to pieces), put down any wrench you my have in your hand and step away from the vehicle!!! you have gone about the this all wrong. I would strongly suggest putting the car back stock, and then I would learn a little...
That really depends on how long your kid has been driving. I wouldn't spend that much on a car for my daughter unless she has more than couple years under here belt.
The fuel trim is how much the AFC adjust for more or less fuel to be supplied to your engine. It basicly tricks the ecu into seeing one thing and doing another. I would trace the power for your injectors and see where you power is stoping. That's weird for only two of them to be not getting power.
Your afc controls your fuel so id have a good look at that.. how badly was the car overcharging because that might have fried something, just a thought. you should have been blowing fuses though.
I talked to PR for you and there downpipe is a true 3" all the way, that's why it wont work with your stock 02. just get one of there recirculated 02 housings. then all you have to do is flange a cat.
The 4G64 out of the old spyders and gallants is, as long as you use the 2.4 timming belt. Hyundai even made the same block it is stamped G4CS. The 2.4 uses the same dimension rods and pistons as the 4G63, so he could use his turbo internals or after market if he wishes. The only real difference...
I would go with the PR down pipe and one of there 02 housings as well. Have flanges welded to a 3" cat, just get one that will be roughly the same length as the stock one after the flanges are welded on. Take a look at these Thunderbolt 3" Spun Catalytic Converter. and then pick whatever cat...
Why not use the whole 4g64 block and bolt your head on it for a 2.4 litter. Just an idea. If you do use the stock rods for the 2.3 you will need pistons that are 6mm shorter or they will poke out the top of the 4g63 block.
man I wish I could see your actual log.. on a side note how do you like your green. been thinking about running one internally gated as well? id say try the plugs and pull a little bit of timming. remember its not really low if your car likes it and stil makes good power
aem is alot more expensive than link and link can do everything you are goin to need. its mainly the rods that go at that power level, but every motor is deferent. thats a pretty expensive turbo, there are alot of other option for your power level. but thats up you how much your willing to spend...
for your power goals your goin to have to build a motor. good set of cams and valve springs etc. new fuel system. some type of tunning like dsm link. fmic. a turbo matched to your power goals. manifold, exhuast. the tranny really depends on your drivving style. their is really alot of options on...
your o2 volts will change as our afr changes, the only problem is that the stock narrowband o2 is kinda useless if you afr isnt at 14.7. and by mafraw you airflow our what?
your o2 voltage is flucuating up towards 5k. whats your wide band look like at the time it starts running crappy? you arent pulling any timming so it isnt knocking.
boost creep has nothing to do with the fuel system. boost creep has to do with the efficency of the exhaust system and the ability of the wastegate to bypass flow from the turbo.
i might be some surface rust, happens when the iron block sits in the oppen without oil on it. the mousture in the air does it. they should clean it all off with hone before the put it all together.
im wondering if anyone is running an undividing manifold with the stock divided housing. divided manifolds are just so expensive, willing to run one if it is really worth it though. just trying to plan things out, so any ino would be great.
