are you sure your timing isnt 180%? off, that would cause these similar symptoms. both dowel pins on the cams should be facing up

i have a hks 40mm wastegate and a manifold with the 40mm flange, but the manifold has its flange flat unlike the one i got with the wastegate which has its flange and it has like a raised edge where the wastegate piston seals. so if i installed the hks on the manifold there would be leaks...
