Its just like any other fuse when its blown.

Check the 80 amp fuse under the hood on the passenger side.

Other pads were the exact same way...so for the detail oriented people like me buy them somewhere other than the dealership

Went back to the dealer and they ordered "new" ones lol I know they are only 3.84 a piece but i'm not the kind to give my money away for parts that are already half deteriorated. Will post pic of hopefully 2 good pads soon.Scott

LOL I meant I thought this "glaze" was something to prevent these from wearing down so fast haha.

Went to the stealership and got myself some clutch and brake pads for my talon. Upon closer inspection I noticed on both that it seems it was half glazed over or something. Is this something to help the wear down or did I just get a bad batch of parts? Anyone who has got these new please let me...

What has worked best for me in the past is to go check the car out and pick up on the things that are wrong with it and add them together and say it will need XXX$ of repairs. You can ask that off the price or ask him to split the difference.

I have a 90 Talon with the door pocket, cup holders, and to my knowledge to be the only year for "Light Grey" leather interior with the top half of the interior being light Grey also

Junkyard down the road from me has a 90 laser with the CC setup still. I have a 90 with CC and will take pics for you . Let me know if you want me to go get those CC things from the yard

+1 on the valve stem seals. I just did all mine with the head on the car.

Yes the 1994 Talon had darker ones. This is a Stock 1994 Talon Interior

Yes that's #6 and there are 2 per side. You might want to crawl under and see what all your missing before you order so you can do a nice job on the side skirts and make sure they wont be falling apart for a while

Knew a guy who had over 40 dsms total but he is getting out of the game. Going to his house was INSANE its like a dsm junkyard. He has every rare part and about 10 of each , semi trailer full of parts, you name it he has it. Too bad he is getting out only has about 10 now.

My 90 tsi awd had same thing and it was my ecu. I have an extra TPS and IAC both for 90's if you want pm me.

+1 on ecu. Mine wouldnt go above 2k but I put another ecu in and bam perfect. It seems to me if you start out with a good/rebuilt ecu you spend alot less becuase your not spending it on sensors etc only to find out its ecu.

The awd eclipse is faster than the awd talon.....Both stock by the way........

1990AWD im aready there hahah. You have to do it right while its apart but well worth the money when you finally get to take her out on the road

1990 Eagle Talon all stock. Idles like a dream but as soon as I touch the gas pedal it boggs up to 2k and will rev between 1600-2000 rpm's. If you hold down gas it will bogg up to like 2500-3000 but come right back down to 1500 1600 and go right back up to 3000.
