Went back to the dealer and they ordered "new" ones lol I know they are only 3.84 a piece but i'm not the kind to give my money away for parts that are already half deteriorated. Will post pic of hopefully 2 good pads soon.Scott
Went to the stealership and got myself some clutch and brake pads for my talon. Upon closer inspection I noticed on both that it seems it was half glazed over or something. Is this something to help the wear down or did I just get a bad batch of parts? Anyone who has got these new please let me...
What has worked best for me in the past is to go check the car out and pick up on the things that are wrong with it and add them together and say it will need XXX$ of repairs. You can ask that off the price or ask him to split the difference.

Yes that's #6 and there are 2 per side. You might want to crawl under and see what all your missing before you order so you can do a nice job on the side skirts and make sure they wont be falling apart for a while

Knew a guy who had over 40 dsms total but he is getting out of the game. Going to his house was INSANE its like a dsm junkyard. He has every rare part and about 10 of each , semi trailer full of parts, you name it he has it. Too bad he is getting out only has about 10 now.
+1 on ecu. Mine wouldnt go above 2k but I put another ecu in and bam perfect. It seems to me if you start out with a good/rebuilt ecu you spend alot less becuase your not spending it on sensors etc only to find out its ecu.
Turned out to be a bad ecu. Ill post more pics when I get the front end back together. By the way I got a very nice set of light grey leather seats for the front. Took me three months to find them

1990 Eagle Talon all stock. Idles like a dream but as soon as I touch the gas pedal it boggs up to 2k and will rev between 1600-2000 rpm's. If you hold down gas it will bogg up to like 2500-3000 but come right back down to 1500 1600 and go right back up to 3000.
