sweet, thats good to know. I have an hx35 center(3530521 casting) with a 76/60 turbine wheel in the holset divided t3 housing and a super 40 compressor wheel and cover. I'm looking for more flow but don't want to replace the whole turbo.
JusMX, just to clarify, with the hx35 center housing, which BEP T3 turbine housing did you use(Their hx35 or their hx40) and did it need machining to fit the new turbine? BAE has a 76/67 turbine listed under parts for the hx40 along with the 3522880 wheel you used. What has me confused is...
Just from experience with the PTT/QM twin disc clutches, get in touch with Tim at TMZ, after stripping 3 sets of discs and 2 input shafts I'm switching to his 'Gear Drive' discs for the QM clutch. Also recommended is running the fluidamper rather than the ATI, seems to work better with twin...
Thanks man:thumb:, No issues at all with turning. The picture of the wheel is from right after I put these wheels/tires on. They are taller than my last set, that with the uneven ground the car was parked on is why the wheel well gap is so small. Since then I raised the car a little and redid...
Haha, yes I did, I know everyone is on the hellaflush band wagon and getting their wheel fitment look cool. I went with this fitment to fit a wide tire for traction and I do like the way it looks. I also have fender flares but I'm still debating putting them on. Thanks :thumb:
Here's mine
wheels are Rota P45r 17x9 +25, 275/40/17
Car made 357rwhp on an SD base tune at 16psi on a Dyno Dynamics dyno.
I went back for more boost but the transfer case output shaft split in half at the top end of a pull, hence the flat-deck :)
Hey, I'm from Red Deer. I drive a 90 awd, same user name on BoostedAlberta. Car is a 2.3l with a Holset super40 compressor and twin scroll hx35 turbine.

Winter time! Hey, its been a while since I've been on any forums but now that winter is here I have some spare time.I just thought I would put a link up to my crackbook, it has most of my pictures of my build and some video of the car on the dyno. Most of the pictures are under the mobile...
I don't know anything about the xtd clutch. I do know that when using a PTT, a slave cylinder with a shorter throw is required. Most likely you have the Isuzu slave on the car. If the XTD uses the stock slave, it would explain it not disengaging.
12"'s will fit but you'll need a bracket to move the stock calipers out further OR, what I'm reading up on now is using Hyundai XG (2004+) calipers.

Back from the grave!!!Where would a guy get these rotors? I have a set of 16x8 wheels I'm very fond of, and '90 brakes that I'm not. I'm wanting to do the 12" - 12.2" rotor with the dual piston calipers(and mounting brackets)
Hey, just reading through the tech section for 1G's on the autocross site. The issue about the steering can be solved by modifying the power steering pump. Not sure if you know this or want to add it to your site. I can find a 'how-to' link somewhere if you care.

Hey, I live in Red Deer but MJ is my hometown, I would have been in town but we got into a head-on with a drunk driver on our way down. LADY FROM SASK. ALMOST KILLS 3 IN HEAD ON!! - Swift Current Other Parts, Accessories For Sale - Kijiji Swift Current
This set me back a bit so my build will...
Or a 3kgt/Stealth 6 speed!! Not that anyone needing the strength of a block like this would be using it in a street car, but when I win the lottery, you better believe it haha:hellyeah:
What about using the stock caliper with a taller rotor. A bracket would be the same deal as the front setup. You could use your stock front rotor and put it one the back. It would be 'blingy-er' and give the caliper more leverage.
That first 2G is Ron's from up here in Alberta. Since then it's been stripped down, chuted, painted Lamborghini yellow, another new motor(one every year). That car is the definition of fully built/modified:thumb:
The rep we have is awesome, everyone thinks twice before they run against a DSM.
I have a '89 Buick Regency or something for a winter beater, high class in it's time:cool: It has the electric release but it also has the electric close. When you close the trunk it latches but the latch is raised about a half inch when opened. After latching shut, it's fully close by an...
Woo! first of 2010!

there are three, it's a friends account, and he took the pic's. That's his RX8 and bike, and another buddy's Integra.
PS, front mount is painted black:)
If you still need it, I can do it, I'm in Red Deer. I've done 3 for my self, all you need is the rebuild kit, ~$100. Send me a PM if you want, we can also talk about how to make your 14b into a big 16g for another $250.
If it was a piston ring and/or land that blew, it wouldn't cause coolant in your oil. So head gasket or cracked head for sure. I doubt it was piston related, 11.5 is a nice safe mixture.
Well it's great to hear it's still in progress! Would a datalog with rpm and knock be useful to you from me? I'm running a 2.3, wiseco .020over, eagles, ARP's etc.. I don't actually have any datalogging stuff installed right now, still running stock ecu and injectors. What would be the cheapest...
I have been having the same issue, any hydraulic tensioner I put in fails in short order. I think mainly to blame is me not following the instructions exactly. Next time around, which is soon, I'll do it more precisely:thumb: Just curious, did yours make a ticking sound, kinda like lifter tick...
Hey man, you probably seen this one already but if you haven't it should help you out:thumb: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/1g-n-t-tech/55459-4g63-nt-engine-how-make-turbo-kit.html
He forgot to mention that the N/T doesn't use oil squirters but that doesn't matter much. Even if you use a...
I have two Dobermans and a stray cat that they took in, My dogs love and protect me, the cats just here for the free food, and doberman body guards haha.
Mans best friend FTW!!
My mistake, I was looking at rebuild kits once before and thought it said the 14b and S16g had flat backs, must have read or remembered wrong. Again, remembered wrong about the td05/tdo6 on the FP red, my mistake. What's wrong with upgrading? Gotta do it some time, I was just giving him another...
