This is a really cool and creative offering. As someone who plays around with Pis, I love the implementation of this. I'm definitely purchasing if I do build my car for track/rally setup (as opposed to selling). Wishing you the best of luck on sales!
Up for sale is my WSRD professionally built long block that I'm now parting out.I had this assembled back in January 2016 and delivered late February 2016. Since then, it's been sitting on the pallet that it came in on, waiting to be used. I've added a picture from the WSRD facebook page of...
Hello everyone!I've decided to start my build journal as many of my new parts are coming in and I should be starting on the next chapter of my car. Some time in 2008 or 2009, I bought my first DSM - a 1993 Eagle Talon TSi in red. It was mostly stock, with the exception of a small 16g turbo...
Thanks! That makes more sense. What about before the first runner? Is there some opening there? Someone had a picture of an opening there and I think that's what got me sideways on this.
Hello,I apologize if this has been answered already. I searched and couldn't find exactly what I was needing. So I'm going from a 1g intake/head combo to a Evo III manifold/2g head. The Evo III manifold has a MAP provision I believe, but what 3 bar/4 bar sensor will fit there? I'm looking...
I'll post pictures of what I got later, but here's the rundown:Handguns
Walther PPQ M2 9mm in the 5" length. The PPQ series guns have excellent triggers for striker fire setups.
Springfield Armory Government model 1911 45acpRifles:
Remington 700 SPS Tactical AAC SD in 308
Vepr 12 (AK style...
There's been a ton of crank walked 7 bolts, but like above, there's probably a ton more that have been fine. I have a early 7 bolt and opted for a 6 bolt swap. It's currently in progress, but I would have been fine with a 7 bolt as well. I believe that machining is key for any proper setup though.
Not to get side tracked, but the e85 gunk issue seems to be a common problem. What are people typically doing to work around this? Does gasoline clean this stuff out of the fuel system (for those who are flipping back and forth between the two)?
That's an interesting and much easier way to understand the relationship between the two. Thank you for listing it this way. Have you been able to get your car running while using TPro?These were the exact opposite of your beliefs previously, as recently as late last year. What...
OP,I think that you would be pleased with either ECMLink or Jackal. I myself run Werewolf, which I really enjoy. My first trip into the world of tuning was with Jackal. I went with it largely in part to the convincing by someone who was a large part of that community and then had a falling...
All it takes is a few suicide bombers in the US to create panic. Once that happens, the goal has been achieved. We can't prevent an attack anywhere all the time. Only the larger places. This is a great country and it's sad that those stupid bastards stare at us like the cause of their...
I run an EVO3 and have been pleased with the performance. I'd say that if I hadn't gotten a good deal on it, I'd have bought the FP manifold. I believe to be one of the best out there for stock to moderate setups, and then some. I'm sure that you'll be happy with the choice.
That sounds like the issue man. You have a big boost leak. That's also why you are having such poor performance with how quickly boost builds. Your turbo is having to create much more flow than normal to get to 15psi. Find the boost leak and that should solve your problem. Also, I typically...
I don't think that the fuel pump is necessary at this stage. But it's inexpensive insurance. And I forgot that the Evo 3 causes fitment issues, depending on the exhaust setup that you run. I have the Dejon setup that is made for the Evo3 O2.
I pulled some stuff out of your list based on what I thought you would need more so than others right now.Revised list:Dejon intake
AEM boost guage (I'd go with something cheaper, like ProSport. I have that one and it's fine)
Boost controller (I personally would probably find a good...
Here are the Amps that I am considering for my components and 6x9's. Both sets of speakers are 100 watts RMS, so I'm looking for something close to that at 4 ohms. Anyone have any feedback on the brands?Amazon.com: Hifonics HFi100.4 HFi Series A/B Stereo Amplifier 4 x 100 @ 4 OHMS, 4 x...
Hey how is that gasket holding up? I just got mine in today and need to pull my intake manifold. Did you install it with any other sealant or anything? Any boost leaks with it? Thanks!
I'm not going for big bass. Something that is accurate and very responsive. I listen to all kinds of music and it needs to be versatile. Nothing that will win a competition or anything, but more like a clear concert or something.
Man that speaker is pricey. I need to find a store locally...
Would I be able to achieve a good sound out of a sealed box? I'd like to conserve space if possible. If not, I'll have to start thinking about what type of box is best for the particular sub I'd be after.
white92talontsi-that box is amazing! I wish I could hear how it sounds in person. I really hope I like the Image Dynamics components that I bought. I might be convinced to try out one of their subs. I'm sure I'm an easy person to please with car audio so I bet I'd like it.
Thanks Dr...
I'll definitely throw an amp to the speakers before buying a sub. I've been trying to decide where it would be mounted at. I wanted something clean and out of the way.
Thanks for all the comparative setups. I had gone up to Custom Sounds (a national Audio sales and installation retailer I think), and talked with the guys up there. They also mentioned that the boxes used were important. I was looking at a simple sing 10 box that was just big enough for the...
I'm not wanting a ridiculously expensive setup. I just like to listen to a variety of music and want a system that will play it well.
Alright, so here's what I got so far:

Settle down. Just call around and ask for a throttle cable. Local parts stores may or may not keep it in stock. If you have Oreilly's in your area, they should be able to order it and get it in within a day or two.
