    Also forgot to mention that it isn't throwing any codes. It runs great except for the idle surge while rolling. Immediately stops when the vehicle speed drops to zero. Starts back up as soon as I let the car start rolling (ex. downhill roll).

    You can get the surround off from around the inside handle with just 1 screw, without removing the whole door card. I can't recall if this gives you enough room to get to the pull for the latch or not.

    WE HAVE A WINNER, FOLKS!!!Got the area cleaned up, and this is what I found.Otherwise, the other 2 caps werent leaking... yet.I'm guessing that running a jumper wire from the pin where IC110 connects to the main board to pin 63 is a reasonable way to fix this.

    I would honestly suggest that anyone looking to use EvoScan just use an Evo 8 ecu. They have better roms, more options, more patches, better all around. Switching the pins takes an hour tops.

    This is why it wouldn't be a bad idea to cycle the vanes through the full range of motion after shut down. It would scrape any soot from the vanes before it had a chance to really build up.
