1g fwd turbo cars are everywhere around here awd to. I can go on Craigslist right now and find at least 5 for under 2000 bucks. Heck we end up just throwing 1g fwd turbo trannys away cause no one wants them.
The white wire should be hooked up to an rpm source. On a 91-94 cas the 2nd black wire in from the back of the plug. Just ttap it in there it should make the car run better. The translator could also be setup wrong.
Knife edge the divided housing and will work great!! Honestly if your going with an hx40 get a 60mm. Be patient you will find what you want at a cheap price. You can use a variety of t3 flanged hotsides I believe there is a factory hx35 open t3.
they are assuming it needs rebuilt because they get them in bulk and dont know the condition. i got an hx40 pro from them 7 blade billet wheel 10 blade turbine wheel for 200 and its in absolutely mint condition. no shaft play and not a drop of oil anywhere spins freely and is now bolted to my car!!!
It's probably your clutch pedal assembly. Push your clutch in when it's all the way back output your toes behind it and pull out if it pulls out towards you it's probably shot.
Ummmm the shifter on 1gs with a 2g knob are already to short why would you wanna make it shorter? You will have less leverage and slower shifts. Buy a fidanza short shifter sits up like stock but is longer below the pivot point to make shorter shifts.
you timed it 2 teeth off in the beggimimg thats why the exhaust cam gear didnt try to move back. it is normal to use a 17mm wrench to line up the exhaust cam.
Tanner buy the housing bolt it up if it hits dent the pipe and you will be set. With my manifold and the t3 housing it hit the block andi had to grid the block and housing a shade.
since i broke the rules on my last post ill just agree with everyone else lol.holset setups are very cheap and very easy to install. you can figure everything you need to know out on here. there are a lot of people that would probably come to you and help you if you needed it.
the arp headbolts are like a must the rod and mains you could do without but while your in there why not. stock springs will work with 272s but you would be better off with evo springs and retainers.what are your goals for the car?
