That sounds alot like the problem I had in my old Laser. I have 3 old slave and master cylinders, 2 clutch kits, and 2 stainless brake line kits sitting in my garage from the what sounds like the same problem. I finally sold the car as it was, with spongy clutch pedal and all. The guy who bought...
So, what do you guys think...I finally broke down and took some pics of my painted engine bay. Let me know what you think.Before:After::thumb:
Thanks for the input.
Some cars don't react well to Synthetic Oil. Your car is roughly 14 years old, and it has probably had conventional oils ran through it all it's life. Putting Synthetic Oil into it is just going to clean out all the old oil that has built up throughout the engine. I know I tried running Mobil 1...
You use brake fluid for the clutch master cylinder. I put Valvoline SynPower DOT4 in mine. But it's really not going to make a bunch of difference with any kind you would use, unless you were to buy some completely generic store brand.
I've only seen 4 or 5 in my life, and I've been in TONS of different cities and states. One rolled through my town yesterday. It was dark green with the black top, and it was the AWD version. It's funny, I always used to think all Subie's were AWD, but then I found out about the SVX, and most of...
Orange juice works great for me... I drink 2 glasses in the morning, and in about a half hour, I'm good to roll. :thumb:My mom taught me that, since I'm still under 21. :P
There is a silver 97-99 Spyder in Any Given Sunday. The scene is where Jamie Foxx and one of his teammates are walking out to the yellow SUV, it's parked on the right side of the road, showing the back half of it mostly. If I wasn't too tired, I could think of more, cuz I used to write...
Those guys make my standing back-tuck and round-off tuck look like nothing. :thumb:And anyone who doesn't know how hard those things they were doing are to do...you need to take a gymnastics class, even for one day, and I guarantee you'll understand. :)
You can do the project yourself, you just have to get the hole aligned perfectly. I managed to make myself a shifter plate out of sheet aluminum, and it actually worked too.All I did was take a piece of cardboard and cut out the initial design, which I chose to go with the individual...
There are intakes like this on Ebay, they use two 90* elbows, and create an almost "S" like curve. They are pretty pricey though, but you might wanna check them out on Ebay at least to get an idea of what it looks like exactly.
We've had a few threads about this before, I'm just too lazy right now to search for them and link them on here. My meds are wearing off.Good luck finding those threads though, they can't be too old, maybe 2 to 4 months now. :thumb:
Here's his story about it. Evidently they found him the next day or whatever and got him to talk. :thumb:http://www.channel3000.com/news/2743929/detail.htmlAnd, no, he didn't even get a toy outta the whole deal. :mad:Later,
That or we're just on here enough to actually know whose sig pic is whose... :pI kinda like Davidle's pic...the cartoon-ish 4-wheel burnout is nice. :thumb:I'm sure I could think of at least 10 that are REALLY cool, but I'm goin to bed...Later,
I know the pic you're thinking of...he's parked in front of what I think was a Taco Bell or something like that. He's parked at an angle, and it's a GST, I'm pretty sure.I used his wheels for a photoshop of my car with them on it. I'll see if I still have his pic.
Also, when you do this stuff, like disconnecting your battery, the stereo requires that you have power for an hour before you can get it to even turn on. It's pretty dumb if you ask me, but my friend and I got his to work eventually. :thumb:
What system is it for?I have TXRZ for PS2 and I still play it occasionally. There's just something about all the cars and all the mods you can do. :thumb:
I bought mine out of my own money almost exactly a year ago. She just got her's yesterday and paid for half of it from her money and my grandparents paid for the other half...I paid $1700 for mine in BETTER than mint condition, pretty much new everything, including turbo, radiator, rebuilt...
Just like the title says....my FIFTEEN year old sister just bought a TSi AWD!! :mad:Anyway, it's got 134,000 miles on it. It's lowered and other than that it's pretty much stock. The only bad thing is that it's an AUTO! :(I've just got to get her ricey-ness out of her system before...
I figured you'd post something performance-wise, but you said my third choice instead. :laugh:A convertible would be nice too...not the copy of the one everyone has seen though, a more realistic looking one.
I liked the game. It was a very good defensive battle. All together there were about 10 plays total out of the game that made a difference. That's the way a GOOD game is played. :thumb:I also have to tip my hat to Purdue, they did a great job and the best team came out on top! Now, next...
FINALLY!!! Someone who thinks how I do!! People around me get so pissy when I don't ask them how they are.I ask my girlfriend and my mom how they feel. They're the only ones I really care about how they feel. Everyone else talks bad about me behind my back, so I don't really care how they...
I was just about to post a topic about being bi-polar, but Defiant brought it up first. One of my girlfriend's best friends is bi-polar, and she uses that as an excuse for everything he does. I tell her "he doesn't need someone to make excuses for him, it's his choice on if he takes his meds for...
There are actual license plate covers on Ebay that work like that. My friend bought a set and put them on his 240SX, and he drives crazy everywhere...we have alot of those photo radar things around here for some reason, but he's never got a ticket. They look normal, until you see it from a...
I didn't post because of my color, I was on this site before I bought my car, and I've always liked JDM's blue TSi.And I also like almost any car that's all black, especially with a carbon fiber hood and gunmetal with polished lip rims.:thumb:
Since when does it NOT get cold in Michigan? I was up there a bunch last winter and it was freezing EVERY day...:confused:But anyway, back to topic. I've got the annoying lifter tick also, and I've tried 3 types of engine oils, and none have fixed it yet. :(
2003 Lexus IS300 Graphite GreyRead his post on how he got it from a Salvage Auction, and you'll like the car EVEN MORE!http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=76812&perpage=40&pagenumber=1Congrats dude! :thumb: :dsm:
I remember seeing this one too...I think it was a black GSX...the car itself looked pretty nice, if I remember correctly. He said he never had any problems with towing anything, no trouble taking off or excessive engine wear or anything of the like. You'll have to see if you can find him...
^^Also, the new stuff that hasn't been out for long usually isn't affected.Just download the new song you want the very first time you hear it. Don't write it down and wait a month for your list to add up like I used to do.Good luck with whatever you choose. :thumb:
How are the Buckeyes over-rated? They're defending National Champs, and they have won 19 straight games. It doesn't matter how much you win by, A WIN IS A WIN. In a theoretical "perfect world", OSU would still be at number 1, since they're the champs and no one has beat them yet, to take them...
Since people are mentioning COLLEGE ball, I've always been a HUGE Ohio State Buckeyes fan.I've got nearly 200 player autographs, been to at least 50 games, press days, spring games, and other photo-ops.I've liked them since I was 5, so don't even think I'm a bandwagon jumper.I bleed...
Friday night I was a 92 Nissan 240SX with a complete SR20DET/Silvia conversion. It was "NSX blue" and had 18" VOLK Gram Lights in gold.It was WICKED! :cool:I got it on video tape, we talked to the guy, and it runs 12.9 right now, with hardly any mods.
I can't believe no one has mentioned the release of Street Racing Syndicate. It's got a bunch of hype on the net, and it's supposed to compete with GT4 and NFS:U.Just thought I'd let you guys know! :thumb:
