Whats been going on guys? It's been a while since I have been to the site. I'm going to be adding a fuel cell to a 2g in the near future but I'm not sure exactly how people are doing it. The most logical place is where the spare tire well is, so that is were I am going to place it. Cut the well...
Unfortunately I need to move the Galant. We are looking to move soon and I wont have space for it nor do I have time to work on it. The car does run. The car has developed a horrible water leak. I believe it is coming from the water pipe behind the turbo. I think I didn't dent the water pipe...
Well it's good to see people are getting back up and running. I have been out of the car scene for 3 years now (had a baby and wife works a lot). I finaly have a schedual to where I can get down to the garage and get back to work. I caught the bug again this week and started putting the interior...
Keep your eyes open, The numbers are falling and fast. People with really nice one's ask top dollar. Let me know if you want to look at it, I'm not far from you. I'm just being honest and up front.
I'll start with the bad.
It has a hideous front bumper that the previous owner put on.
cracked windshield
dash vinyl has pulled slightly at the plaque
typical paint fade
dsmlink ecu has an issue/ now the car wont start and the laptop doesn't recognize it's there. (the car will start with a...
I thought that all the markers line up at TDC. Where as the piston could be at the top but the cams are not lined up. Keep rotating the motor till everything lines up again. I'm not sure what the cams are doing to the valves on the #1 when everything is lined up but that's what I had thought was...
Just take an extra battery with you that way you can atleast get some where off the road, may even make it home. I've went from randlestown up to hanover PA on a battery.
This car is sapposed to leave sat. to the scrap yard. It's a shell with the interior is still in it. Come get what you want and just kick me a few bucks.

I hate that damn fuse. My old 2g used to blow them because the o2 sensor was too close to the alt. So I used to carry a spare. One day I just took a screw driver and a hammer and smaked the o2 sensor out of the way, lol. That was a long time ago when I didn't care.
DeWalt DCK275L 18v Drill and Impact. I got this as a wedding gift a while back and never opened it (I work at DeWalt and have the tools already). I'm asking $250 +shipping or best offer. It uses the Lithium Ion tower battery packs that will also work in all the 18v tools that use the other NiCad...
It is a shame man, I've been screwed by people on here before and they don't understand why people get mad and demand there money back. If you change your mind I will stand by the one I have and if it doesn't work like you want I will buy it back.
I've never done a swap but I think you need the pedal assembly, rear, trans, shifter, cables, gastank and theres more. Does vfaq.com still exist? May have the run down on that site.
sold a few things, AWD trans has a messed up output shaft. It moves in and out and the teeth are worn. So $50 takes the trans with the T-case (has messed up teeth from the imput shaft as well). T-case still spins. No one wants an awd 3" exhaust with a cat and thermal cat back?
This will weld back up right? This is after >40,000 miles on an act 2100 that was DD on a fairly stock car. Only thing on the car was a 3" exhaust and I never drove the car hard, launched or raced! Any one else see this before?
Front bumper is rough, the motor ran ok, I never had a problem but I never did a timing belt change and the valve cover leaks. I didn't do a compression test, we pulled it out saturday.
PM me your number and I'll txt you the pic of the muffler.
I have the whole car and have started to strip it. car is a 91 5psd awd white.3" turbo back exhaust w/cat (Thermal R&D cat back) $3501g bov (have 3 of them) $40 eachValve covers $40 eachHolset HX-35 7 blade compressor cover (Has small chip on the back/shouldn't effect anything)...
OP, do you have a 6 bolt swap? If you do, it's due to that. Try resetting the ecu and see if it clears. If it does, take the car to about 3500 (Where I noticed it) and see if it drops the cylinder again.
I feed my first HX35 from the head and got 10-15 good pulls/ 1/4 mile runs in before it failed. I do NOT have balance shafts. Spend the time and money to do it right. It will save you money in the long run.
So I have a 90 oil cooler and was wondering what kind of pressure the cooler see's? I'm not sure it would see full presure as I would think it would be on the return side of the filter housing (No more then 40 psi I think). I can't find an answer on the forum. Any one know what it would be?
I just took a nitrous jet and turned it to the proper an angle, and turned the an fitting going into the turbo and milled it flat. Drop the nitrous jet into the milled piece and you have a restrictor.
