I have a set of black leather Recaro's out of an 06 Evo 9. Both are in great shape and come with original brackets and sliders. Drivers side has slight wear with a small crack on the back at the bottom corner.PICKUP ONLY. Will travel some distance to meet if buyer is serious. $700<a...
The aluminum cell seems the way to go sense I'll be redoing the rear with sheet metal. I wasn't sure if just welding the fitting or using a bulkhead if plastic would be enough. What are you using for a sending unit if any? More than likely I'd have to use a fuel gauge.
No one? It's been done before. There's several pics for 1G's but that doesn't help me with placement. I've only seen a few pics for a 2G but not sure what has been done for a return line. Could I just use a bulkhead fitting?
I typed in "fuel cell" and looked through some build threads but haven't seen to many pictures. Trying to see what fuel cells some of you are using and placement. I'm thinking of running a 12-16 gallon cell. I'm also going to sheet metal where the spare tire was so I might have more options for...
CNC seems to be the only priority at the moment. I ordered a fuel cell and gave a $500 deposit in November and the rest at the end of April. I was told end of May and now it hasn't even been started because the sheet metal he had cut somewhere else doesn't fit. If it was 3x the $$$ and made with...
That's cool especially since he has the money to do that. Wasn't there a 1000hp 300gt that wanted to run last year and wasn't aloud? It was at least still in the Mitsu familly. Just think it would be nice since its the DSM shootout it would be nice to see the DSMs that's drawn people to this...
^^^^ this :thumb:As much r&d they put into the stuff they sell I would never doubt their products. Everything I have got from them has been top notch including customer service.
Well you could say most of the stuff they use is "reboxed". There pistons are Ross built to there spec and the rods are R&R which they clearly state so it's not like it's really a secret. As for the crank mines not much lighter then stock. Three pounds isn't all that much I really doubt your...
I thought the option for 156mm with Manley was for the 4G64 block. I have the 92mm crank with 150mm rods and wrist pins are moved up 3mm I believe while the stroker pistons are moved 6mm. In a 4G63 block thats going to be some super short piston skirts.
I just had my Magnus 2.2 done but havn't had a chance to try it yet. 156mm rods are pretty long for the 2.0 block. Pretty sure Manley sells a 2.2 rotating kit.
2G AWD stock fuel tank with driver side sending unit. Tank is in good shape but will probably want to use new straps. Only pulled it to swap in a fuel cell.$80 pick up only.
+1 for Brian's axles. He is a very good friend of mine and stands behind his work 100%. Too bad your FWD because I have a practically new pair im getting rid of a AWD set.
You should update the 92mm Magnus crank with there pistons and 150mm rods is a 1.63 rod ratio. The 2.2 stroker is a great all purpose engine. After talking with Marco before making my choice he was telling me how it would have the low end power/torque of a 2.3 yet the capability to rev like a...
I agree with the .91 T4 housing. Your "362" is really a 60mm 83/75 Borg Warner/Airwerks that came standard with the T4 housing. BEP cuts down there wheels, puts on smaller restricted housing then charges double the price as a real BW. Full-Race did a test where that turbo spooled slightly...
Iv wondered about the 67mm wheel in a 91/79 myself. If not you can still get a billet wheel from BEP and still be $400-500 cheaper then buying the turbo from them.
The 67mm s400 will probably be laggy. The s300 FMW will spool like a 83/75 (s360) and have almost the power of a 91/79 (s366). Have you thought about a 91/79 (s366)? On a 2.0 people are seeing 30psi just at or before 5.5K and it's an 82lb/min turbo.
Iv seen alot of people running these turbos out to 9k with the .91 housing with no problem. On the .100AR you'll get alittle more power per boost but is it worth the lag?
That's what I have setting here waiting to go on. Forget his user name but Kenny went 9.7 on 36psi(?) With a 2.0 on the same turbo. If you havnt bought it yet get a REAl Borg Warner/Airwerks 91/79 (s366) and can pick one up for $700. You will be paying double the price for a BEP because it's...
Stock diff cover is the big weak point. Get a billet rear diff cover and some soild bushings for the driveshaft, diff, and subframe and it will take a beating. Your launching technique will also have a big part in how well it will hold up.
