If your getting a wideband, then the egt is not needed. You seem to have a good start on a parts list, but I would recomend getting ecmlink, and possibly bigger injectors. Headstuds may also become a necessity.
car will be fine, but you should atleast rewire your fuel pump. and any 16g will bolt up(big, small, evo 3)And if you can do I timing belt, the turbo will be a breeze.
stock ignition is fine for your goals.

i let my 6.0 diesel run all day, and sometimes all night.
I never plugged my talon in(~-50below every night) and it would start up just fine with 5w30, and I'd let it run for about 10 mins, ### I'm a sissy, hah.
Why?
I'm not sure about 90's, but 91-94 should all be the same. With a 90, you'll need an oil cooler, and I think the throttle cables are different. That's the only difference I know.
