1995 gsx aiming for a 575 whp street killer.

That intercooler is probably going to be a bottleneck in your system if you are shooting for almost 600whp. Judging by the design, it looks like it will get heatsoaked fairly quick and if you can't keep those intake temps down, you will never have consistent power.I would look into a VRSF...

Tap broken off in exhaust manifold head stud hole...

Had this happen with a bolt extractor that snapped off inside just like yours. Bought a few different bits and dremel attachments but no luck with anything as well.Instead of pulling the head and after sitting there for hours drilling/tapping it with no luck, I decided to give this a try...

    Somebody hit my Lambo

I had a fender smash up on my 2g when the wheel bearing went and sent the wheel flying into the fender and then proceeded right out to the opposite lane LOL.New fender cost me ~$90 shipped primered black already. If you really wanna be cheap you can rattle can the new fender black sand it...

kelford 272s,smim,small 16g now what injectors??

Anything 1000cc or higher will suffice, seeing as you are already planning on going bigger in the future you will want something that can also support the flow of that 35r.

Lol posted at 4:20 .... What were you doing up at that hour tuning your car huh? HahaAnyway nice job with figuring it out on your own. Read up some tutorials and get familiarized then you should be tuning soon enough no problems.

    How to clean these wheels?

You could always give it a quick scrub with orange cleaner or some other degreaser and then just Plasti-Dip the rims.It is a cheaper solution than powdercoating all the rims but still makes the rims look brand new again...Besides looking good, the plasti-dip also protects the rim from...

    2g HID

These guys are exactly right with stating that a drop in HID kit is no good and will blind others more so than letting them see you so its not one of the greatest ideas...But, that doesn't mean you should drop the idea. A properly designed HID Retrofit Kit is what you need to look into...

2g awd with abs wheel baring

If I'm not mistaken the abs sensor relays information off of the axle, not the hub.You should be fine with any 95-99 year wheel hub being it ABS or not. Just make sure you anti-seize the bolts, and where the hub and spindle meet real good when you install it and torque them down to spec...

    Car wanders under power

I had that same thing happen but luckily it was at around 15-20 mph and I was a few blocks from my house. But it caused enough damage as it was at that speed, I would double check all your front end components to make sure everything is in check before driving again. Also, find out if the...

    HTA68 vs HTA Green

Carvin, it seems you still cannot comprehend my point...What do you mean it "has no where to go" with the boost?? The car will accelerate forward at a greater speed once it builds all that boost and off you go. Hell, isn't that the main reason why turbos were put on sports cars in the first...

    HTA68 vs HTA Green

^^ Great point JusMX you are correct and I just realized the correlation too after looking at 94awdcoupe spool data post...I think what the OP was referring to as "bogging" in 5th is that maybe it just doesn't feel like the car is accelerating as fast as it would feel in a lower gear...

    Intercooler cover; Like/Dislike?

Nice job! But I usually see them installed over the front gap in the bumper cover. The only thing you would have to check is the clearance between the intercooler and the wire screen..If there is less than a half inch clearance, there is a chance a big rock can dent the wire mesh in and...

    HTA68 vs HTA Green

No, I don't dig.. In fact I feel as if what you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having...

    HTA68 vs HTA Green

This gave me a good laugh ROFLPlease explain why you would rather choose to do a pull in 1st than 5th if you are scared of the powertrain going?? Common sense tells you that in 1st gear there is much more force/strain on all of your drivetrain components because of how quick you are...

Internal or External wastegate on FP Green

Which of these two fmic's are better?

^^^ Yes Mitsubishiown if your goals are 350-500 MAX, the VRSF kit will be MORE than enough to support those power levels and 30+ PSI with no problems if you have the other supporting mods.

HEY!!!!! I'm like 99.9999% sure that is my car ^^^^ Wes. LOL !!!!!Where did you find that picture at because it was the original owner that installed that GReddy/Trust FMIC and it has been good for about 10 years now but I am in need of a new intercooler now because that one gets heat...

so where does this go? what goes here?

I am now running probably 80% distilled water and the rest with Peak Radiator Cleaner and Flush and a little bit of coolant. Fan kicks on around ~205-210 degrees on coolant and seems to maintain it around a steady 200 when driving. Do these temps seem okay for the stock cooling system?

so where does this go? what goes here?

So I've become very familiar with Prestone full strength... I've gone through 2 full jugs on my system already. Reason being is I haven't had coolant or any other fluids in for about 3 years and the coolant was turning very nasty brown and murky right after I ran it.I have flushed the...

so where does this go? what goes here?

Ya, after more thought on it I think a regular coolant hose that fits that diameter will be fine it won't be too close to the block to overheat. And I think the regular hose clamps that have been holding the old one on the whole time would still be alright for the new hose if tightened enough...

    hitting a brick wall

Double check your plugs because I was having the same problem just as you described and it turned out to be bad plugs. It may just be a simple fix to your problem ... keep it simple start with the basics and go from there. There is always a logical explaination to the problem.

Thanks for all the good info guys I appreciate the input.I think I am going to jump on the deal seeing as my current stock rotors need to be replaced anyway. Also, both of my front calipers need a rebuild kit because the seals are bad and the ones I ordered off EBAY do not fit properly for...

    Rust hole fix

Ya buddy dremel is good for small intricate work that doesn't require much cutting power but that's about it.What you need is to buy yourself a good ANGLE GRINDER and a metal CUT-OFF DISC from home dePOT or somewhere like that. They can be had for usually less than $50 and will work wonders...

    Wilwood rotor REPLACEMENT

Hmm, I figured they would be less rotating mass seeing as there looked like less surface area vs the OEM rotors but I may be wrong. I am rebuilding the stock single piston rear calipers on some brand new Power Slot slotted rotors and will probably run the same Hawk HP pads.

    Rust hole fix

NO sir no paint thinner it doesn't neutralize the rust like the other products. You can try to do a couple coats with that neutralizer stuff to spray on the wheel well and let it have some time to work at the rust. YOu will definitely want to spray a few coats of some good Rustoleum paint...

    Rust hole fix

They are called rust inhibitors and are supposed to neutralize the rust to prevent from spreading and getting worse. One of the more popular ones people use here is called POR-15 also I have used Naval Jelly with some good results. YOu can get them from Autozone or Pepboys or Napa any place...
