Just bought a set of evo rods and pistons for my 1G 7 bolt. Just wondering how much power people think these can hold? I heard the evo's are reaching 600 hp on the stock internals. What are your thoughts? These will just bolt on as a direct replacement to the stock combo , correct?

All new bearings!! I would just go a head and do all four and be done with them all. But this is up to you. Maybe now would also be the time that you look into replacing the rods if you plan on doing it in the future at all.

I would just go with a 16g on the stock manifold and port it, this is one of the best turbos in my opinion for the street.

I just use straps to go all the way around the engine. I basically cradle it. I do this with just the engine though. I can imagine you could do the same, but just have 4 straps. Two to go around the engine and two to go around the transmission. I can not see a major problem doing it this...

I am not entirely sure, if you are still running the same ecu, then I would suggest you still need to run them. You can find a very detailed description at magnus motorsports. That is where I would go check if I were you. Good luck. Good to see more people from Michigan on here.

I would start by checking for any boost leaks. Then You could rewire your fuel pump, to ensure it is getting plenty of juice. Next You can check the waste gate getting stuck or the fpr. I would guess it is either a boost leak or the pump. Unplug your maf and see if it runs any better?

Either way should work, but if your vacuum switch were to fail, then you would be in trouble. I would say to just wire them together just to be safe.

You can also contact JNZ tuning. Look them up, they are a vendor on here and carry a variety of OEM parts to be had for a little cheaper than a mitsu dealer would sell you.

Part list seems to be fine. Some would warn you with getting your timing belt other than OEM. You can try it and see. I have mine from NAPA and not a problem yet. If you have done any work on cars then you should be able to do this just fine. Make sure you label all bolts. It may be easier...
