they should only squeal when you apply your brakes. best to not let them go for too long as they sqeekers wear off.also is it coming from just one wheel or more? it may be a wheel bearing
same. bought a type-s and took it off like 3 weeks later. stupid investment but i sold it to my buddy so whatever. i just got another 1g bov that i plan on crushing soon.
as long as you don't spray the exhaust with it. anywhere around it should be fine. a mercedes here in the city was sitting out front of a dealership waiting for pickup from a customer when it went up in flame because they sprayed the exhaust. i've never actually seen it catch fire but i've...
I prefer the spray on undercoating. i do undercoating at work on new vehicles and such all the time. the spray on it way easier to put on. make sure you keep the undercoating off anything that heats up (such as exhaust piping) or it will catch fire. on the plus this should deaden noise very well...
you should go buy a boost gauge. the stock one isnt accurate when raising boost levels. plus its not that safe. should have got a boost gauge before you got a mbc.
my buddy had the exact same problem. he thought he blew his transmission. his linkages looked to be moving and working, but when he took it into the shop they were shot. new linkages and was ripping again in no time.
obviously clear coat is going to make them look better lol its clear coat!can you buff your light after you done with the VHT? i just used enamel high gloss paint and some clear coat to do mine. then i buffed the clear coat made them shine real nice.and you don't have to add a coat of...
i did the same thing to my 91. my battery posts were old so i went and bought the wingnut ones from walmart. bad mistake. it grounded to my hood and left a nice little weld there. i thot for sure my car was hooped. its been over 5 months now and no bad symptoms yet *knock on wood*
Alright so I'm in a bit of a bind here. My exhaust manifold is cracked rank on the 4th cylinder, so I ordered a new one for a 13g turbo. I then ordered the new bolts and the exhaust manifold gasket (the one that goes in between the head and manifold). But when I asked about the gasket that goes...
if your mixing paint chances are your using a paint gun, not a spray can. spray cans are one of the reasons why taillight tinting comes out not so great. once your lights illuminate you'll notice its thicker in one spot then the other.also is nightshade really 19$ shipped on the internet...
most likely your fuel pump. same thing happened so i put a new one in and fixed the problem. mine happened when i was on my way to school :( there not hard to change
the gasket used in between the head and the manifold is metal. i've tried dealerships (i work at a chrysler dealership) and they said its discontinued. ill try my luck at NAPA or some place, thanks guys
Hmmmm I think its your belts. Check them and make sure you got them all. When I raced my buddys 95 talon he redlined his car so rank to try and beat me that he blew off his power steering. It was very hard to turn and it was making a screeching sound. Put a new belt on and problem went away.
Alright I just got my exhaust manifold gasket. I sent my dad in to order both gaskets going from the manifold to the turbo and the manifold to the head. So when I went to pick it up they only had the one gasket. They one going from my manifold to my turbo they said is discontinued. Could I just...
Alright I wanted to know if on the 1ga's you can manually crank the lights so there up slightly. I like the look, and I just wanted to know if I can do it, and what do I adjust for this?
Sorry if I confused you guys, I mean the bolts are already out. Should I get new ones? If I don't have too that would be sweet. But I'd rather be safe than sorry. And do I have to take the studs out of the head? I was just going to take all the bolts off the studs, then pull off the manifold...
Thanks guys, but what about the bolts? Should I get new ones? I was reading somewhere on the forums that you can let them sit and soak in something to help make them stronger.
I recently bought a new manifold for my auto 91 turbo talon. I thought it would be a easy replacement until I came across the last bolt (by the power steering). Instead of going through the hassle, I'm just going to take it to my buddy (a mechanic) and he'll do it. I've heard that the bolts...
Alright my exhaust manifold is cracked in 2 places, so I ordered a new manifold and gaskets. I took all the bolts off the manifold, except I don't know how to get this one bolt off that bolts it to the turbo. All the rest of the bolts that bolt it to the turbo seem to just screw out, but this...
in Canada were allowed to have our 3 back windows tinted as dark as we want. i went for the 5% tint, not the limo tint. my buddy has 5% all around on his eclipse and hes yet to be pulled over. he's had it on for a good 5 months.
i had the exact same problem. mine always came out before but i got new crank and cam seals and it doesnt anymore. my oil pressure has gone up a bit too
i work at a chrysler dealership detailing cars. we buff by hand with a applicator pad and let it sit for a bit. then we take a normal cloth and wipe it off. very nice shine for yet very quick. or on the bosses cars we use a orbit waxer and make it look nice. if you have swirl marks its because...
i run a auto AWD.. i brake boost and it revs to about 2500 at 7-8 psi. i launch like craaaaaazy but thats cause i'm AWD :Dhigher stall converter would do that trick. im thinking about upgrading mine also
yeah when my mechanic had my car, he was generous and washed it. he washed under my engine, and got water in my first cylinder spark plug (removed the plastic piece on valve cover). it would bog down at red lights and stuff. when i got it home and turned off my engine i heard a gurgling sound, i...
Alright so not to long ago I was driving and then I noticed my temp gauge was abnormally high. I just added coolant to my car (pre-mix) a few days ago, so I thought that was the issue. I check the coolant and it wasn't that. It was night so I pulled out my trust cell phone and looked at my...
i have Devino DV220 rims w/ Linglong 225/45/17 tires. They are black with a chrome lip, they'd look good on your car. They offer 18" for those rims too. Check my profile to get a better look at them, or search the net.
my 91 used to do that until i altered the BISS screw. actually i paid 30$ for a computer diagnostics because i couldnt find the problem. they were too stubborn to tell me the exact problem (hoping i would come back again, because it started doing it again). but i bought a haynes manual, altered...
hopefully you didnt do too much damage. i'm hoping you fixed it and put more oil in it before trying to start it again. if it still wont start you may have seized the engine :( if you havent already go buy a haynes manual or something and take your head off and see. maybe theres something wrong...
