After you figure out if the fans are working, make sure you get all the air out of the cooling system.Take the radiator cap off start the car let it get up to temperature top off the fluid if needed.

The turbo seals could still be bad, and that could be why its burning white smoke. If the valve guide seals where bad it would smoke blue when you started it in the morning. You have to do a compression test and a leakdown test to know what is going on.
It could be a hole bunch of things, as poonman said is there any codes and have you checked for boost leaks? Also make sure everything is pluged in and in the right spots.
