When I spun a rod bearing on my GSX it was after I had a 16G with all stock fuel system as well.... wonder if that is the cause... too much air and not enough fuel...
Exactly what everyone else said also. It is a combo of pushing the clip in, wiggling, and pulling.... depending on how long it's been it could have a lot of grime stuck in it.
It should just unclip and off... there is one that is held on by a nut, then the other is a clip. Kinda similar to what is used for the coolant temp sensor.
Just checked the weather again and now it has changed to 30% chance of PM showers.... with the exception of Prescott which is supposed to rain/snow on and off all day.

Curious about this also, I know my FWD seems to have a longer 5th than my AWD... My AWD is at aprox 4000rpm at 80 and the FWD is at like 3500 I think...Who knows.

This is what I did and it worked, although I have switched to a Flex-a-lite fan set up that cools alot better because I was still overheating. I do have to say that I like these fans better because they have the shroud and the control box that allows the temp to be set to turn on.

OK, I just got my tranny back in and my car running. I took it for a test drive and it doesn't go into second sometimes. It is like it is not even there. It did this before I pulled it too, but I was hoping it would be fixed with the new shift fork, fulcrum ball, and clutch. I need some help...
I just got mine in today, I have a few other problems to take care of now. The test drive I took felt good though. Grabbed good, and pedal pressure was not too bad at all. I have the stage 2 with a Fidanza.

The tranny is out and I am not putting it back in until that bolt is out lol.

I think I may have a problem. I was pulling my tranny and when I took out the speedo sensor the small 10mm bolt fell into the hole that the speedo sensor goes in..... I know I should have been more careful. Does anyone know an easy way to get this out? I don't know what I need to do to...
One question, did you wire the AC fan this way also?
I was wondering b/c I might want to wire it so the AC fan comes on also. Right now I have a switch turn the ac fan also. I don't know if I will need that with the slimline, but I sure do with the stock ones.
