im getting really frustrated after buying a brand new slave and master cylinder.i bleeded it so many times already.I adjusted the master cylinder, I think. I tried to match it to my old master cylinder since the configuration worked before my slave cylinder gave out.now I look...
hmmm, probably not adjusted well enough. too loose. and cant move the end of the slave cylinder, only a little bit.Im looking at my old master cylinder and it looks like its on the 1st thread.ROFL on the new cylinder I put in, its at the end of the rod. I am not going to give up on my dsm.
got my new slave and master cylinder. Installed everything nice and tight.I bleeded the system with the procedure:
loosen slave valve
hold down clutch
tight slave valve
let go of clutch.
did this about 5 times to make sure all air bubbles or most are out.refilled the resevoir with...
Clutch just went out on me. loose as a goose and doesnt go into gear.A friend and I took out the old master and slave cylinder and waiting on the new parts to come in.I am a little confused on bleeding the system.I heard to

me and a buddy of mine, took out old slave and master cylinder. just about ready for replacement. just waiting on the parts to come in.What is the liquid that goes into the little resevoir? brake fluid?what is the correct way of bleeding the system? and would I bleed it with the old master...
thanks a lot. if the clutch is not getting any pressure to it, this would mean the master cylinder went bad?I just ordered both master and slave cylinder and going to attempt to fix it. shops love to rip you off :boring:
master cylinder is the the thing under the hood, with the little resevoir with the tiny white cap?you say its on the tranny, where exactly is it? would I need to take off the tranny to get to replace it?
are you sure its the clutch slave cylinder?im guessing that I should not be driving until this is fixed.is this difficult to replace? I dont have a clue on where this part is located.
I was just driving my gf home, it was a smooth ride. when I start driving back, it is so hard to put the stick into the gears. I felt as if im grinding the s&%t out of the gears. I get home, im pushing down the clutch, it feels so loose compared to how it always felt. :banghead: :banghead...
My brake light doesnt go off when I put e brake down. it goes away on its own after driving for a few miles or so.im guessing maybe brake fluid might be down.where is the brake fluid resevoir? a picture would be helpful.thanks :rocks:
i changed the ISC about a month ago. The old one was black as hell. the new one was nice, gold and shiney.this could be the problem, the fact that it was black. what could that mean
Car works great until it gets to the normal temperature. Rpms is never at the same line. and sometimes it drops low enough to make the car studder.any suggestions?
I was just thinking the same thing. I would think to spray the center piece same color as my body and tint out the tailights to keep the blue/black thing going.\but thanks

yea, im not a fan of the sheet altezzas, I bought the car like that. If I cant get OEM lights, what other suggestions do you have for the lights? smoke them?My trunk does fit correctly, its just not closed when I took the picture.\and I cant do anything with my stock headlights for now...

well, my car is up and running already. not bad for a mediocre.pour baking soda on wires and terminal, cleaned it up. Hopefully this wont happen again, otherwise im gonna run this car in the middle of the street to get totaled :hellyeah:
voltage is not dropping. voltage dissapears once I take charger off. but i cleaned the female and male portion of the battery with a screw driver, and charged it one more time on 10 amps, it started :)thank god, any thing around the house I can use to clean the female wire?
its not the battery, it keeps a 12.5-.6 voltage. It loses voltage when I start touching the bolts holding down the terminal wires, and then goes to about 8v.Its losing power as I go from Terminal>bolts>wire.
It doesnt even start when I have the charger in, only starts when I jumpstart it...
