Holset HX35...Now what O2, manifold, and Housing

I wish I would have just bought the ERL for my HX35. I bought the RevHard T4 manifold and re-drilled it to a T3 pattern. I only paid $214 shipped for the manifold but have had to buy a JayRacing alternator kit ($125) since the stock 12cm2 housing left about 2.5" of total clearance between the...

I'm getting a DSM tattoo, will someone help me?

Don't.I have a full sleeve with pistons, plugs, cam gears, and other engine parts. I got the tat when I was still into Hondas. One of the best moves I made was not making any of it Honda specific. I'll not get any brand tattooed on my skin regardless how much I'm into it.Just get a...

Has Anyone Ever Bought Itm Pistons?

You can buy Nippon pistons through an ebay seller for less than $100 shipped with rings. They are identical to what you will receive if you buy "OEM" pistons through Slowboy or ExtremePsi but you will save about $120.When I bought my first set of 2g pistons from Slowboy they sent me a set of...

    Holset Turbos, PART 6

My HX35 doesn't have an index pin, I can rotate the compressor housing 360 deg.I would take a die grinder to the pin and grind it flat if you are unable to remove it by other means.

Best Picture Of Your DSM Dissembled

These are a few of the shots I had time to take during my "body swap". I picked up the white shell with a 6 point cage, 2 Sparco Speed seats, spare 4-bolt, and a AGX/GC combo for $500. Absolutely NO rust on it either. I swapped every wire from the black car to the white car since wiring issues...

This is a terrible idea. The Galant knuckles and Brembo calipers are only compatible with 2g'sStock Evo cams aren't that great, that's why Evo owners install upgrade cams. The springs, retainers, and valves would be the only one of your Evo upgrades I'd agree with. I have Evo8...

Where to buy 34mm flapper upgrade for 16g?

Port the turbine housing. If you port the turbine housing and a path to the wastegate you won't need the bigger flapper. The flapper alone may not cure your problem.

A good set of cams is definitely one of the best bang for the buck power upgrades for the 4G63. I've had a couple big cam/high compression Hondas and NONE of them responded to a set of nasty cams like my Talon did. I have Crower (not BC) 272's and friggin' love them.

The silver TE37's would look great but I wouldn't change hubs for a set of wheels. I can't stand white wheels on blue cars anymore since thanks to Si coupes. It seems like they are the most common blue car to rock white wheels around here. Some polished Slipstreams would look sick on your car.

I went from an MHI Evo3 to a PTE 50 trim last fall.I miss the insta-torque put out by the 16g but the 50 pulls so much harder up top. It also holds high RPM boost with my 272's better than the 16g ever did. 18 psi is just barely waking that 50 trim up. Once you get a headgasket and studs you...
