Im just now starting a new build-Im thinking the higher compression and the elenta head will help me a great deal --------i completly destroyed a brand new motor in 3 races -----Not sure what happened but the intake valves hammered the piston - and after checking -my timing never changed...

just a quick question here im running a 1g nonturbo ------ seems if i set my ignition timing to 10 degrees i get better power?.......is this possible or am i imagining this should i go back to 5 degrees or really doesnt it matter ?.thanks

just about every time you bend a valve - even if your saying your pistons are bad - it still should have compression even if its low ------ with a bent valve you will have zero compression --------a compression check is basicly the only way of telling short of pulling the head and getting a shop...
195 across the board - fresh motor ------but finaly found out what was wrong and im kicking myself in the arse ------maf sensor had a broken wire inside the canister ----:banghead:.........but again i appreciated every ones help very much ----------so to all of you a big THANK YOU :thumb:
replaced new cam senser - new wires new plugs - did not just drop them in used care when installing --- changed coil packs off a car that had no issues ------along with a ecu that came from a running car rechecked timing and triple checked it also a new resister pack and installed new fuel...

i did this mod my self pretty much as it was explained ----- just make sure your not over extending the throttle plate at full throttle i had to put a stop beneath my gas pedal - but here again my cars stripped down to the essentials - no carpet etc.........
