You can get them at your local parts store, its kinda rare that they stock em.You dont need to put silicone around the new one, you can put them around the old ones to ensure no leak, but your best bet is to replace them.
more then likely it is going to be your cam position sensor. One went out on my friends car and it didn't get spark. Replaced it and fired right up. if its not that its your crank sensor.
its your injector seals that go to the intake manifold..
Over time they turn from rubber to hard plastic. removing the injectors and not replacing or putting silicone around these seals will most defiantly have a leak.
I am the owner of the car... I pulled off the trans and looked at the pressure plate and it was hitting the fork.. it took some metal off. I am worried if I ran or run it like this the fork will brake in two and leave me stranded. After taking a closer look at it and taking decent meausrments I...
well i went ahead and got the block decked for the mls and arps. So there will be no problem sealing. And about how much drop in the compression will it be, seeing how its 9:0:1. 8:5:1 or 8:8:1?
I was just wondering if there is a compression change in the two head gaskets. It looks like the mls is a little bit thicker then the felt crap. The reason that I am asking is because I just purchased a 2.3 stroker it and it is a 9:0:1 compression and I think it is a little high..
My car just spun a bearing, and I got my mind set on the stoker kit.
The engine is pulled and apart, I just have a few questions about the kit befor I buy it.
I noticed that the slowboy kit doesnt include piston rings. Are there special pistion rings I would have to buy?, if so where do...
My friend has a 98 gst that doesnt get power on the coil that gives spark to number 2 and 3 cylinders. we changed out the coil pack with a good one and it still didnt work. So we switched out the power transister unit and it still didnt work. So now were stumped. I checked all the fuses and...
well I already paid the core charge and got the money back, and they gave me a front wheel drive axle (full axle, not half shaft with carier bearing) which as you can guess would fit..so i have to pay the core charge again.
