I have done it and have been daily driving my 1g for over a year now and it works perfect. No bad side effects. My car is 300whp+.... So my advice to you is do it. Its much cleaner looking too!
I recently purchased a 98 gsx and it already had rc550's installed in it. It has nothing controlling fuel. It's gas mileage is horrible. I do not have stock 450's to throw on it temporarely. I do have my ecu sent to ecmlink and I got v3 sitting and waiting to go in.

I dd my 91. I pulled the power steering rack apart and converted it to a manual rack. I also have a sparco steering wheel....smaller than stock, which also makes it harder to turn. Personally I LOVE IT!!! You can feel the road much better and I feel in control! Go for it!
I have a 350whp 1g FWD. I have a quaife lsd and equal length driveshafts. Traction is definitely a problem. Its fun don't get me wrong, but it does get old when i actually wanna race and don't grip till 3rd if i'm lucky.
Does the one on the right fit on the t-25? If so shave the top of that one and install the nos jet in it. I can see how the one on the left is too small.
Hey, on that manual rack idea you have.... go for it!! I have done this mod....its really straight forward and you get to remove a lot of stuff. I daily drive my car with a smaller steering wheel (sparco) than stock and I personally love it. Any q's hit me up.

I would like to see a throttle cable made! A very short one that goes directly to the mouting then throttle body. I know we have the non cruise control cable option but it still wraps around I go for the clean look.
