A rule of thumb is to always change your gaskets when replacing things. It will help avoid leaks. The metal insert is actually a gasket. Then best way to remove studs is to double nut them.

Well you cant just through bigger injectors and expect the ecu to figure it out. You need to tune them with some sort of device. That is were ecmlink comes to play or for the cheaper route you can get an afc. You would only know how much boost you could run if you had some sort of logging...
Take it to a machine shop and get it machined out if you are dead set to run one off the o2 housing. I am sure that they could do it with relative ease. If you dont want the hassle then like everyone else said run it off the manifold.
Yeah I would have to agree that that turbo is well on its way out. Not really worth the rebuild either, as you could find a 14b used for what you would spend on the rebuild kit maybe a little more but would be a worthy upgrade.

I would also elect to go with ecmlink and some large injectors even 1600. I run 1000's with v2 on my car and it idles like a champ. So that route you wont have to worry about idle and with link you can also adjust your airflow at certain points to help idle those larger cams. With any machine...

You could take the power from the cigerette lighter light. If you need an ignition source you could tap into the cigerette lighter itself. I went this route with my AEM wideband gauge.
150000 on a stock bottom end. Dont forsee it getting over 165 170 though with the major head work and the H1C going on there. Compression was 160 160 155 150 I believe.

Yeah I got the ssac one when it was just coming out like 3 years ago or so. Kit was nice but the vr kit is def an upgrade wise for ease of installment. But ssac was not hard to install by any means. Just the missing coupler and two t clamps made it a bit more frustrating.
