  3. 4G63 vs 420A

ah sorry about that, I'll fix it above. I was htinking about the torque numbers. Why people want it? It's quick and hssuld be fairly easy to maek quicker and more fun. Why i don't want it? Well like you said the looks but that's all a personal thing. Besides that it doesn't handle quite as...
  4. 4G63 vs 420A

no flame intended but the neon is no where near the dominating car in G stock anymore, here's the nationals results from last yr http://scca.org/amateur/solo2/nationals/2002/results/gs.html notice wright was the highest neon and he placed 11th. The G stock car to have is now the celica gt. The...
  5. 4g63 in a civic?

one odd but cool honda, this is what you get when u give a crx some boost, a gsr motor, and awd. http://public.fotki.com/morgie/qsr/crx_gsr_awd_turbo/now i bet that took some sick $$$$$$$Karim
  6. FP-30 release.

I've also always wondered what turbo was the pump gas king?Karim
  7. Does Ball Bearing = LEGEND power and road race spooling.

A 500hp road raceable dsm? you must be a very rich man. 500hp usually equals a good amount of lag, lag on road course very bad. A 500hp DSM setup for the road course wouldn't be cheap and probably not streetable.my question to you is why the 500hp number? I mean a well tuned car running an...
  8. The Official "What Should I Spend Money On?" Thread [Merged 10-6]

a UCIP and a BOV is a must since the 2G BOV leaks. I'd definatly do those 2 and a good boost gauge. Then hit exhaust and boost controller. After that plugs wires and supporting fuel mods.Karim
  9. boost gauge

sounds like boost is reading right. With your mods 16psi is easily possible, so it sounds like your cool.have fun with the car and if you have anymore questions don't be afraid to ask.Karim
  10. boost gauge

    ::::cough::::2G GSX w/ AGP L1R and supporting mods::::cough:::::DKarim
  12. Buy GSX or keep MR2 turbo?

hey give some info on the 2, like mileage condition, mods, possible price, etc, i actually have a friend who graduated from upenn that now lives in your area that's looking for a 2 or a miata to make a gutted track car.Karim
  13. Performance

aftermarket boost gauge so you can find out how much your boosting, aftermarket or 1G Blow Off Valve since the 2G one leaks, and then an MBC to bring up the boost some. Changing your fluids wouldn't hurt if you don't have any records for it. You can also do the wastegate restrictor removal which...
  14. agp turbo good or not

you will have a very hard itme finding anyone who has been disaapointed with the L2R or even AGP. From what I've seen their turbos and service are some of the best money can buy, in fact we'll be using an L1R in my friends 97 GSX after supporting mods are done.Karim
  15. AGP L1R Turbo - supporting mods?

hey kevin we're looking into the L1R for my friends 2G after we get all the supporting mods for a bigger turbo in there. Does it bolt on to the 2G or would we need to do a custom manifold and such? I guess what I'm trying to ask is that if there is any other costs after we finish the full...
  16. Intake

do you have a 1G (1990-1994) or a 2G (1995 and up)? If it's for the car under your name which is a 1G the cip-2ga won't work as it is for the 2G.Kairm
  17. Which/What gauges should I get? [Merged 12-6]

quick explanation of EGT in here http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19093best of luck.Karim
  18. Gauge Pod

To change your air/fuel ratio your going to need either a stand alone ECU or a Air fuel ocmputer (SAFC for example), EGT will help you figure out how much you can lean out your fuel mixture (remember leaner makes power) without blowing up your motor. More air and less fuel = lean. Less air more...
  19. Gauge Pod

exhuast gas temp = EGTthe higher the exhuast gases the leaner your car is running. Becoming too lean can become dangerous for the motor. EGT gauges are much more efficent way to moniter your air fuel ratio then those gauges wiht the blinking lights that go back and worth.btw cool pic...
