I will consider going to Jeff City. I'd rather not ship out of state because I wouldn't be able to go after it if problems arise. I have to consider costs.
I'm trying to achieve about 400hp and use it as a drag/street car but things like this keep popping up. The car currently has an agp l2r turbo, arias pistons(8:1 I think), crower rods, 750 injectors, front mount intercooler, fp exhaust manifold, 2.5 downpipe, 3in exhaust. I'm trying to make...
The engine has been rebuilt before, it has about 60,000 miles on rebuild.
Ok I figure this is what I need:Crank checked/machined
rods checked
gasket set
rod bearings
timing belt (tensioner new at rebuild)
cometic head gasketWill I be better off getting new rings and cross hatching...
I figured I'd have to get some aftermarket housing which would be better anyways. The one linked would require me to change a lot on my set-up, mines internally gated and ported O2 housing. I've found some with the t4 manifold flange but not the dsm. I might have to call FP and see if they...
I have a AGP L2R GT30 turbo and the turbine housing is majorly cracked up. I want to find a replacement housing rather than buy an all new turbo. It has a Mitsu symbol on the side and the number 78-11830. My car uses an fp manifold with the stock dsm flanges.
I have sparco torino seats in my car and had to modify the bracket to fit correctly. The seat was to high and too much to the drivers door. The sliders for it are pretty low. In hind sight may be cheaper to make your own seat brackets to fit rather than modify pre-made ones.
Wouldn't both side blinker lights come on if it was the hazard flasher relay? I'm not going to rule it out though. May just try to swap a flasher relay out and see what happens.
Yes, the left blinker stays on even with the key off. It doesn't even blink just stay on. I had run across some posts in the past that mentioned something about a short causing a problem similar to this but I can't refind the posts. Where would I find the multi switch?
The car is a 96 spyder and I took the car in to get tuned and the left blinker stays lit continuously even with the key off. Did they short something out?
I'm working on a 96 eclipse gs-t spyder for a friend and he bought a PIT boost controller w/ turbo timer. The manual is gone and the company is out of business. I don't want to trial and error this thing. I haven't found instructions online anywhere and seen that some on here have this...
I ran into an instance where my gauge was zeroing out a second time when the key came off of start position. Changed the connection for ignition and it read just fine. Try to see if it resets when coming off of start before shipping it off.
I would like a duct that goes from the bumper to the side factory port next to the air cleaner. Or like others said the evo hood with removable cover but add a vent above the air cleaner to force fresh air in. I don't really want to mess with trying to remove my headlight to get fresh air.
I use RTV blue on my car and it will flex enough for the water pipe seals. Just make sure your using new o-rings when you do it. My pipe didn't seal with a fresh cleaned block and new seals. Maybe with all new parts it will seal without help but each car can be different.
I've got one sub in the passenger cubby hole on the passenger side facing the driver's side trunk panel and the other facing forward on the driver side of the trunk. I can thump the front seats just fine. I have 2 10" sony's and a 1200w sony amp.
