I dont think so . The ecm does not have a way of monitoring fuel pressure.Does youre chech engine light come on when you turn the ignition on ? It should come on for few seconds then shut off. Can you her the mpi relay click at all?
Could be a few things . First i would check youre sway bar links. Second check youre shock mount. Could also be (less likely ) a bad ball joint or control arm bushing.
Might have the wrong year ecu? Are you sure the cas or ecu you swapped in are good? If the ecu you swapped in was a 90 you have to switch the firing order. Or you have to switch pin 6 and 14on the ecu i believe.
Bad idea. If the surface is not completely clean it will not seal good . When i do them, i just unbolt the turbo and leave both manifolds on to save time.
mpd sensor is on the manifold not tb. The sensor youre probably talking about is the throttle position sensor. That should have a four wire pigtail i believe.
In the second picture it looks like youre oil sending unit.It looks like some one ran a t off youre oil housing so they could run a stock and aftermarket oil pressure gauge.
It might not be youre timing belt , it could be one of the drive belts. The back fire and hesitation could be from a bad tune. Is it backfiring through the exhaust or intake? But i would check out the timing belt first.. Pull the plugs and turn it by hand and check the belt for marks or broken...
Youre off 90deg, the cam dowel pins must be at 12 oclock like jon stated. 1^^I would put some stock cam gears on and line up the timing and see if it starts before you pull the head off.
Sorry. theres just a lot of people on here that think theres a gain in performance when there isnt and maybe if you didnt know and some one told you there wasnt you could save so money by not switching to it.
First check to see if he melted any wires on the ecu harness then check the ecu.. The timing adjust connector goes directly to the ecu to stop the ecu from adjusting timing.
I would honestly forget about the gm maft and just save for dsmlink lite. I had the gm maft in one of my cars a while ago and it was a pain to get it perfect. You can throw mods at youre car all day and never see the numbers you want , all the magic comes from the tune.
