I had a 16g on my GSX with all stock and bolt ons (check out my profile), felt awesome! The boost lag isn't all that noticeable, plus the boost is so much more! I did the BCS mod too... I say do it, you wont regret it!

I had a full 3' exhaust with high flow cat, the only time I got a cel was when the rear o2 went bad.. Replace your o2 and got from there

I'm running a cheap $50 eBay muffler with no silencer and it sounds great! Although I also have a full 3' exhaust with a high flow cat.i say cut the stock muffler off to get the sound you want and when your ready to do it right, get a full 3' exhaust system off the classifieds for cheap.

I have a 1g throttle body in a 2g, so I endded up having an extra vacuum port I dont use. Right now I have a vacuum cap installed, but it seems that these caps eventually get brittle. I wanted to know if it was okay for me to block off the angled vauume port with some JB weld instead of a rubber...

I'm running that exact same shifter, works great. I also had a B&M shifter I replacedthis is one of the few cases that ebay cheap knock offs acually workaltho throw away that shift knob and get your self shifter bushing and you wont regret it

Im having a very similar issue, car runs strong but as soon as I hit boost and gas pedal is all the way to the floor, the car starts to shudder, I have a small 16g with the waste gate hooked stright up to the J-Pipe.

I just noticed the break shield is bent at the bottom! MOTHER LOVERS!!I didnt have my OEM lug nuts anymore so I ended up getting a set of lug nuts at autozone that look pretty close, they have washer and a flat bottom like the OEM ones

head over to autozone to see what the check engine light is, might be for something else, maybe you left a hose unplugged. I dont know much about the evo bov, but if its air tight and recirculated, its shouldnt be throwing any Check engine lights...the code check is free at autozone
