So on 9-30-13, I ordered a set of shifter cables from DSM Graveyard. Their site said that they are a special order item, and would take 3-5 to ship. So after 5 FULL bussiness days it still says "processing", so I emailed them. Got an automated response, saying that they are happy I am a...
I know its not a chinese POS, i personally removed it from a bone stock 1g.....thats what i was fearing, i hope the other stock WGA is good. This kid really needs to do research, nothing worse than a broke teenager wanting more power, they carelessly build power without the thought of being...
Ya and I THINK, not sure, but I think the crack got much worse after the
25 psi incident, but I know that now it wont build any and I know thats at least 1 issue, if not another possible issue. As far as fuel is concidered, its got braided stainless return line, and an aftermarket (forget...
Ive had a couple 1st gens and a 2nd gen over the years, and now My buddy just bought a 2nd gen GST, and it came with a cluster f___ of stuff that looks like a duct tape mechanic put together. It came with a FMIC, with 2.5 inch piping, BOV, crappy battery in trunk job, leaking cam cover, ebay...
According to my chiltons for the 90-94 nt it says to "Locate and disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator. Plug the end of the hose. Measure the fuel pressure and compare it to 47-50 psi." Next "Reconnect the pressure regulator vacuum hose, then measure the fuel pressure and...
Ok this is my first 2g, and I am going to put a 14b from a 1g that i have on it. I know there is a kit to do this, but I am cheap/greater preformance oriented. I will be replacing the rubber pipes with hard pipes while still maintaining the SMIC. I also have a blowoff valve that will be...
I just bought a 2g awd, it is apparently set up for a 1G. It came with a 3" down pipe, what is the difference between the one for the 1G awd downpipe and the one for the 2G awd? I also had another question, which can prob be found elsewhere, but which clutch should I buy? (300 Hp ish for now)
I would go with the minumum of 2 gauge, the safer the better, but if it was me, I would go with 0 or 1 gauge. The MAX amps that the 4 gauge can handle is only 135 amps. The 2 gauge is 181 amps, the 1 gauge is 211 amps, the 0 gauge can handle 245 amps. Granted your car will probably not see...
Its the ECU. Ive got a 90 Eclipse, only difference is it is NA. I had the EXACT same problem, then I replaced the ECU and has been running great ever since ;)
Sounds like your cat is stuck in your engine bay LOL . Try one of these out http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=54& , my buddy bought one, and might I say, MUCH better than the stock one. Not too shabby price either
I'm leaning towards the timing thing. When my timing belt messed up on my NT a while back, the Header was Glowing Red where the 4 pipes went to 2, and that was the only time I have ever seen it glow at all
I've got some ThunderVolt50 10.0 mm wires that are bad @$$. Ive got them on my 4g63 NT right now and have had them on my turbo. They hold up A LOT better and have very little resistance, they seem to last longer than the Accel ones, but when i had the accel ones, I left the cover on them:( ...
Try some cams. My AWD pulls A LOT better (Above 6k) that my buddies FWD w/big 16g turbo, and the only other diffence is that mine has a set of crane cams
DO NOT BUY THOSE. I bought the same exact ones from that exact seller a year ago. They ARE NOT as BRIGHT as the sylvania siverstars, they are more blue, but they BURNT OUT in like 1-2 months (and i didnot touch the bulb with my fingers).
go with the bad guts, i mean BG Syncroshift, It worked the best in all of the different transmissions that I put it in, but I dunno bout the transfer case or the rear end. It is what im putting in them for my project AWD. I have tried mobile one synthetic and redline, they worked ok but not...
The best thing for for you is to buy a Reinforced Clutch Release Fork and Clutch Release Fork Pivot Ball. Both of these are from machv and can be found here http://www.machv.com/rewoclpa.html (they recommend that you shim up the pivot ball for aftermarket clutches) Also if you are getting a...
This is a site where you can get both of these lines, http://www.agpturbo.com/home.php?cat=258 together they are about 100 bucks but it will keep your turbo alive
Is is white smoke, if so you are burning oil. The most probable place it is coming from the turbo. It could also be the oil feed and/or return lines are pluged. I replaced all of these and it works beautifully now, and if you want to replace these lines just for spite, just find the upgrade...
Ive been looking into these systems, a lot and this one looks like the best http://water.lovehorsepower.com . I like it because of the solenoid and the accumulator tank. This tank is the key to success, and this is because it regulates the pressure for the best performance. Also the tank...
In my experience, premium gas is much better, and on a side note me/my parents owned a 96 DODGE caravan that had 250k on it before I sold it. It NEVER seen any thing but premium, and it was still fairly powerful for what it was(it would beat the 95+ ESi's)
