Nope, knuckles are not the same. The hubs are different between the fwd and awd. The hub bolt pattern is slightly larger on the awd and the opening for the knuckle is larger on the awd
What’s up tuners, I have couple of exhaust and intake parts that are just collecting dust. Would love to get rid of all of it in one shot so here goes. $300 takes it all.
Evo 3 o2 housing
RRE short downpipe for the evo3 o2 with o2 bung welded on for wide band
RRE high flow cat
Cat delete/test...
You should be able to use both the non abs and abs axles from 2.0 fwd turbo. Only difference is the tone ring for the abs on the outer cv joint. My car was originally a fwd non turbo auto. I swapped it to a manual and I ordered fwd 2.0 turbo abs axles and they fit fine.
I used the vht wrinkle paint before but It would peel close to the edges of the bolt holes later down the road. I just gave up and had it powder coated wrinkle black.
Look up Msc direct. A 3 jaw chuck with reversible teeth will allow you to hold larger items along with pipe. An independent 4 jaw chuck would be nice for odd shaped pieces or turning offset pieces. Check for play on the slides and adjust if needed before you go to town on it.
McMaster Carr. If you get worm drive clamps make sure to get the clamps with the banding inside so it doesn't cut into the rubber hoses or silicone couplings. You can also get the constant torque clamps that resist loosening up over time.
As far as I know, there are no full urethane inserts for the front and rear for a 2g. I've seen solid metal inserts but no urethane inserts.Avid sells the tuner style mounts for double the price of the prothanes but those are out of stock most places.
Paul I figured that, lol. Our air gas just does exchanges regardless if you own them it not unless you specify to refill the bottle and that takes forever cause not every Airgas will refill your bottle.
Do you guys actually have your bottles refilled? Over here where I work the bottles are just exchanged. Pay for the refill and it's just a bottle exchange whether you own the bottle or rent it.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the egr is on the other side of the manifold. Looks like the actuator for the butterfly valves for a cyclone intake manifold. Yup, looks like non us manifold. That's the actuator for the butterfly valves.
I was able to get a jd squared model 4 with 2 round tune dies, stand and electric hydraulic pump for 1500. The guy I bought it from already had 2 heavy duty draw benders so he just off loaded it through craigslist.
I swapped a clutch pedal assembly in to my auto and I didn't have to remove the column. Remove the seat for room to lay down. Good set of extensions and swivel sockets and you'll be fine.
Alright, heres a stock shifter i modified. Moving the pivot point up for the forwards/backwards movement will shorten the throw. Moving the pivot point up for the side to side movement will shorten both the forwards/backwards and side to side movement. I dont think it would be too hard to...
Modifying the stock shifter is not hard. Raise the pivot point and extend anything below the pivot point on the shifter and that will shorten your forward/backwards throw. Same goes for the side to side throw.
I didn't add stops though to mine . Ill snap some pics of the one I modified at...
So when something breaks, (no matter what welder It is something eventually fails) do you have to send it in to the manufacturer or is there someone local that can fix that brand?
I'm surprised at the fact it took someone in the government 15 years to figure out it was blue. There's rainbow of colors for coolant, plenty of colors for oil. Why can't we have blue brake fluid? I wonder who came up with the idea that the brake fluid has to be amber or clear. Brake fluid...
I agree! Those holes only need to be blocked off when using the older twin cam evo 1-3/dsm head on a 4g64. The evo 4-9 heads have the same oil drain holes. Reason I say that is I used a cosmetic head gasket for the evo 4-9 on my sohc 4g64 build.

This should give you some help, This shows two bearings.
Your too funny......For the op, I found all the info to do the timing belt online not to mention all the info to turbo the car as well. Nearly all my parts on my car are for a turbo so you can't really say there is no love for our cars. Also I don't think 275 is right. I...
What's your fuel pressure under boost? Does your fuel pressure drop when you get over 25psi??
I don't think a single Bosch 044 And 1450s with enough especially with e85.
Urban, your doing pretty damn good, keep it up. I forgot to take a pic last night. I had to weld a patch panel on 30" water main cause a contractor taking core samples hit the pipe. Welding on pipe that was made 75 years ago that's riveted and sealed with tar is not cool.
Wheel bearing is a possibility. Usually when you get clicking noises on right turns that indicates problems with your driver side axle/cv due to weight shifting to the opposite side during the turn.
I had a 3 piece grillcraft set awhile back and it does change the look of the car. Only drawback is that the center piece will only work on an unmolested bumper. If you made the center opening larger then most likely it won't work.
Lets say you can do what you are asking, what are you going to do about knock control? N/t Spyders do not come with a knock sensor so the ecu will not retard timing when engine knock occurs. Unless you can somehow program the parameters for knock control into the n/t spyder ecu, my advice...
The wiring on the stock switch should be fine. The stock switch turns the foglamp relay on and off. The wiring you need to look at is from the battery to the relay and from the relay to the lamps. You have to remember that your wiring is now 20 years old and who knows what your wiring has...
On my non turbo gs spyder the rear o2 sensor follows the exhaust, comes up by the axle and has the harness connector right by the ac compressor. Then it has a harness extension from there to the top of the manifold where the other connector is clipped on to a bracket right the crank position...
Take your springs to someone who has a spring gauge that way you can see how much shims its gonna take to get to 104lb seat pressure. Shimming springs is nothing new but I would stop at a certain amount of shims. Using springs with the desired spring pressure at the correct installed height is...
You have to stay away from any chlorinated products. Most brake parts cleaners today aren't chlorinated and all the new stuff are usually comprised of acetone/xylene/methanol and ethylbenzene. Those pads are called surface conditioning pads and those are great for aluminum. Another thing...
If you are having pin holes then that could be either metal not clean, inadequate gas coverage, incorrect electrode stick out(distance of wire sticking out past the cup). Welding with the metal beveled insures proper penetration. Welding without a bevel and then grinding all the welds down...
When you do the typical fuel pump rewire your not completely bypassing the stock wiring. You are using the original fuel pump wiring to activate another relay to supply power to your pump directly from the battery. If there is a short then you need to make an effort to find it because that can...
For 250-300hp 550 cc Injectors should do. Get some high impedance injectors and you won't need to wire in the resistor pack. Oh and by the way your not gonna stop at 250-300hp, trust me.
Heres the part number from pac racing for the beehive springs SKU: PAC1213-16
PAC-1213 Set of 16. If you choose to stick with the sohc head then just do a small port polish, a camshaft from rpw with springs and use an aem cam gear and call it a day. If you come across a 4g63 then by all means...
No worries, I went through the sametime when I turboed and built my motor. When I did the build there was only a couple of people who actually did the build and those guys took the time to answer my questions. Just returning the help.
