I had a crack in the line going to the overflow bottle that allowed coolant to be pushed to the bottle, but it would suck air back in while leaving the bottle full. Cheapest repair to date.
If you're going with 8AN lines (pushlock, SS, doesn't matter), which you should as stock is a waste of time, you will need to get mm16x1.5 to (your choice size) AN. I went with 8AN as its bigger than stock. If you can pick up a stock cooler for cheap, they are a good route to go, and also use...
I would recommend buying used first. You can get setups for less than 200 that will work perfect. Save money and then if you decide you want a nicer setup down the road you can go for it, and still have a cheap board that you don't mind beating up, or you could just re-sell it again for close to...
Well, i will start of by saying this is not the first time that this has happened, and i have a feeling it will not be the last if i decide to keep the setup i have the way it is. The first experience was blowing a hole in the rubber line connecting the external oil cooler. I may have poked a...
Ooooh, update: The person who stole my afc must not have wanted the cable to connect it, as i found it pushed back into the dash. I will be watching my car this time, just incase they decide to come back for what they still need...some people
My roomate and i made identical costumes that turned out very well for less than $10 i think. It did take a bit of sewing, but my roomates girlfriends roomate helped me out, so all worked out well. The only person who didn't know who towelie is happens to be over 50 years old and teaching...
ok, so.. im kinda in the same boat. I have a '90 awd, built in April '90, so it has different rear brakes. I have the VIPGarage 92+ rotors and pads sitting here because i have the twin pistons in front. How hard will it be to mount the 91+ 1g calipers on back?
alright, so i the plugs have been pretty well figured out, can anyone point me in the right direction of fixing the tach. I may have heard something about the tach translator for 90s, but i am not sure what to check and where it would be if there is one. I honestly have no idea where to start...
The previous owner was pretty smart, and he tried a couple different clusters. Well, he said he tried them, but he was just trying to sell the car and he knew i was going to buy it already. It could also have a 91+ ecu im thinking. I'm just trying to get the whole car sorted out this summer...
thank you very much, that was exactly what i was looking for. No AC in the car either, guess i shoulda mentioned that. Now back to trying to fix the tach i guess :p. I remember the guy said he had a hell of a time trying to get it to work, finally gave up and just spliced the afc into some wire...
Alright, where to start, ive had this car for about a year and a half now, ive been using the AFC as a tach since the stock tach and boost gauge do not work. Tonight i had some free time and decided i'd look into a theory i heard about the stock tach and boost gauge from a 1990 not working with...
I found a great deal on an eprom, too good to be true i guess. :( Luckily paypal got my money back after about a couple months. I have had good experiences with the classifieds on here too though, so i cant complain :)
For the sake of pay, i hope to follow through with my plan to be a geologist, but i guess i haven't started to appreciate rocks enough yet i guess. Its pretty boring from what ive seen so far :boring:
I'm sorry if this does not come across as constructive, but i know for a fact your firebird is nowhere near 9s, 13-14 second car? Dont bullshit.edit: ... la crosse is a small town, its easy to to tell when people lie
DVD shrink works well to make DVDs fit onto 4.7gig disks, i do not know if it works with HD or Blu-ray, and sometimes DVDs will come with some form of encryption, "dvddecrypter" i think its called will make it so that dvdshrink can work its magic :thumb:edit: beat me too it
You cannot see the "carnage", but this is my transmission fluid right before installing my shep, notice the silvery metallic color, along with the large chunks that came out :(
I have the HTC Mogul 6800. Its a decent phone, has all the bells and whistles you could want, i think it was $288, and with the sprint SERO plan for $30 a month you cant go wrong :thumb:
This is my first time trying to give advice, it may be wrong too, so don't quote me. I believe the underhood one like i have, you just adjust the pressure with a screw on the actual controller itself. The in cabin ones have an extension on the screw (all the way inside) i believe. You would like...
i have heard a beeping in my car too, im not sure exactly when it happens, i have noticed it when i get to 55mph or so, it is two or three extremely quite beeps, let me know if you figure it out
you would not have had a problem like that if you would have purchased a Eagle Talon DL, 1.8 lt will run forever, hell, im willing to bet i dont even have a harmonic dampener pully. I drove my car for 8,000 miles on about 2 quarts of mobile one, it still ran perfect, your problem is you need...
