    2G GST Dyno Jet Tune

Yeah i def know wht im doing as far as the tuning myself. They do offer to tune for you. Price's run 150 an hour. They are real nice and let you make the adjustments and give their two cents also. They have experience with Evo's and STI's also. When they tune they leave it a little richer for...

    2G GST Dyno Jet Tune

So i went to Thunder Hill Raceway yesterday and put my GST on MCE Racing's AWD Dyno Jet. Using the Load Setting to simulate real road conditions, With a very safe 10.8-11.1 AFR on 91oct at 22psi with timing peaked at 18 degree's. I was able to coax 234whp with 252ft/lb Un-Corrected:thumb: For...

Pretty sure you need a IAT sensor too. Those are pretty cheap. Then i think you would be ready for a SD tune!

    English Racing goes 9.95 on a FPhta68

Still E-85 with no methanol? Is this IC or the none IC setup? Amazing feat to get such a little turbine to go so fast and stay efficient!! Talk about power to weight ratio! Stock auto converter is amazing also!

NorCal Tuning Event with English Racing doing the Tuning - mid November 2011

Not sure if this helps, .Welcome to Force Fed Performance. is in Roseville. There web page say's that they have a AWD Dyno Dynamics (DD). Just maybe they might be down with something like this. I would want a tune on a Mustang Dyno or DD, over a Dynojet. But then again, anywhere will be fun...

NorCal Tuning Event with English Racing doing the Tuning - mid November 2011

The meet up alone would be fun. Plus 10 or so other DSM's being on a dyno, and being tuned by the owner of one of the fastest DSM's out there! I'm saving my money as we speak, hopefully it's not for at least a month. Hopefully there is a Mustang or DD around that will be willing to make a deal...

    Lapping @ Atlantic Motorsport Park - Aug 14, 2011

Is this at the flywheel or wheel power? What kind of Timing and AFR are you getting away with to max this Little T-28 out like you are? Once again props on the great power produced using 91 and a tiny turbo!! Hope i'm not too much of a bother. I'm just very curious, I'm running a T-28 myself...

    Lapping @ Atlantic Motorsport Park - Aug 14, 2011

wow. didn't think 91 with a little water injection would allow such high boost on a t-28. Any dyno numbers for this setup? Seems like she pulls nice and hard on the straights! Nice to see another t-28 making laps on a track!

    Lapping @ Atlantic Motorsport Park - Aug 14, 2011

So i noticed your running a FP Big T-28, what boost are you peaking to and holding to redline? Also what fuel are you running with this setup?

    NorCal A87 Roll Call

I would post some pics of mine, but for some reason I'm still a probationary member. It sucks because I've been on the forums for over 4yrs, and have help numerous people. Then one day i log on and I'm limited to certain threads, and cannot view certain stuff. Wish i could, i have some nice...

  29. TougeGST

quick help for the newbie pls..!

I would agree on a maintenance, Timing belt, Bearings, Water pump, Balance shaft belt, check your Crank pulley for any cracks, oil change, tranny change, coolant change (summer is right around the corner), spark plugs, fuel filter. I sure there are some more things to check, but these are key...

    Need ISC Motor Tomorrow! (4/23/11)

Napa Auto Part's sell's them. There not cheap though. I think with all sensor's, you should just buy new one's. Just my two cent's. Stay Boosting...
  31. TougeGST

    octane booster good or bad?

Yes, if you can afford it. The NOS octane booster actually give a decent increase. I would say at least a 1 point to 1 1/2 point per 16 gallon's of 91. It will make a solid 92, and is safe to use with sensor's and cat's.
  32. TougeGST

Anyone Running a Megan Short Shift kit?

I've had one on my 2G for three years now, and love it. I would say it is one the first mods you should do to any DSM.
  33. TougeGST

    Tuning Question??

Wht kind of logger are you using? can you see/adjust your timing? at 14 psi on stock injectors is pushing it. you'll end up with too high of IDC's. adding more timing makes good power on lower boost levels.
  34. TougeGST

    Tuning Question??

how are you tuning for knock? and do you have bigger injectors/fuel pump?
  35. TougeGST

    spark plugs

We'll just wondering when you were going to get the Dyno tune? Or if you all ready had, what power did you end up with?
  36. TougeGST

    spark plugs

Then find a Dyno Jet Dynometer to do your pulls on. lol. They are the one of the most standard dyno's on the market. They read a little higher cause of the different way it reads power. Like I was saying Thunder Hill has a 2WD Dyno Jet, it's really new and cheap as hell. No one has $60 for three...
  37. TougeGST

    More 2 do...

    200 a day, that's harsh...especially for DSM'ers.
  38. TougeGST

    spark plugs

I would have to say buy going on two different dynos to see the difference, and you'll know your WHP by doing so. At Thunder Hill Raceway in Willows, a company called MCE Racing has a very new Dyno Jet. You get 3 baseline pulls for $60 everyday! Its only $150 for 12 pulls to do a Dyno tune. One...
  39. TougeGST

    spark plugs

See a lot of people don't understand, is that FFtec mustang dyno reads low. Not that low numbers are bad on their dyno. When i got my tune from sean, at 18psi i made 215 whp on 91 octane. With that power i was surprised at how hard my car pulled!! A stock EVO VIII only makes 225whp on their...
  40. TougeGST

    spark plugs

I would start there and see how it goes. 91 octane really sucks. 250whp on FFTEC mustang is good power, but 300whp is much better. Looking forward to see what it makes!
  41. TougeGST

    spark plugs

Right and i totally agree, but .028 is stock gap on 2G's. If it were me i would close the gap a little more, even with 6's. Just my opinion.
  42. TougeGST

    spark plugs

I'd go with a little less gap in my opinion. just to make sure you don't blow out the spark. FFTEC knows whats up! So go with what they suggest. Plus i think they might even have 7's in the shop to sell you. 20psi tappering to prob 16-17psi to redline should be a a fast spooling torque fun car...

dsm link or flash ecu or safc2 on a evo 3 turbo

Don't go for a 97 ecu, you want a 98-99 ecu to be able to flash and run/log with Evoscan. Get ECM Link and you'll be happy. Like Damills said in his post, there are forums and tech support from tons of people who have ran DSM Link/ECM Link. Buying a 98-99 ecu and learning to swap out pins and...
  44. TougeGST

    spark plugs

I say it all depends on boost and power goals. I'd use the 6's for anything under 18-20psi, and use 7's for anything over 18-20psi. NGK's BPR7ES are good for at least 360-400whp... just make sure your gapped properly. i run 7's on 24psi 91 octane and gap to .024 -.022 to make sure not to blow...
  45. TougeGST

dsm link or flash ecu or safc2 on a evo 3 turbo

Yes, in the 98-99 ECU's you are able to flash. you have to get a cord to go from your ODB-II port to computer. then use a flashing/logging program. I'm sure there are threads about this very subject.
