You're stroker is going to be making a bigger difference than the turbo. At 12 PSI on a 2 liter a 35r only flows minimally more air than a 16g, but a 2.4 liter flows a lot more than a 2 liter.
His brother should cover the cost entirely. ENTIRELY. The kid is completely responsible for the damage, and the father is responsible for the kid. Period. If the threadstarter himself didn't let the kid play near his engine, then the threadstarter did nothing wrong and holds zero responsibility...
They are mandrel bends in the sense that they maintain the same radius throughout the curve. They are not mandrel bends in the sense that they were bent on a mandrel bender. They are made from donuts, which are formed from stamps. Much better constrction method.
When you want the help of people who know what their doing, you often have to put up with the fact that they're bored of your problems. Not like here where everyone will volunteer their ussually incorrect 2 cents.
We have an article in the tech section suggesting tolulene, in a 10% concentration, can increase 91 octane to 116 octane....significantly higher then tolulene itself. Furthermore it lists the ricer magazine HCI as a resource.
It's cool he brought it back so I can bask in my own glory for a few more moments :PYes, bone stock block. Back when I ran that by best 1/8 was [email protected] and now I have gone [email protected] 7.64 was an 11.77 but I haven't ran the quarter since. All the mods on the car are currently for sale...
Oh, and covering your compressor housing in carbon fiber is a fantastic way to dissipate heat. Not to mention most compressor covers only clear our main water pipe by a mm neways.
Thank you for that, but I meant what has to be modified. The 4G63 uses an entirely unique engine harness, and you would keep the 420A body harness. Im curious what has to be done.
Do commas and periods come garunteed with every swap? Did anyone who actually read that consider letting him do a serious transformation of their vehicle? Anyone else notice he sold his swapped car and bought a GSX? Anyone wonder why someone would have other people do the swap if they were...
Yes, and 2/10 of an inch is NOTHING on a turbo inducer. Not even noticeable57 trims are garbage, 60 trims are nice, but the lag difference over a 50 trim is noticeable and mesaureable.
BWAHAHA. I can't believe some 16 y/o kid hides the rear wing on his DSM because someone copy it. Especially a 1 off that you should be proud to show....Then someone else shows pics of it.... Thats laugh out loud CLASSICThe cars been perfect, a future high valuable collectible...and within a...
Thats one reason, but another huge one is that they did it so the engine and wheels rotate in the same direction, making the tranny less complicated by one shaft. You will note that Honda's with the engine/tranny setup like a DSM rotate in the opposite direction from every other engine in the...
I read it. You repeatedly look like a moron. And AWD and 4WD is tyhe same, just like rear wheel drive and mid engine are the same....They happen to power the same wheels. Shit, Our AWD and Subies AWD is an entirely different lay out(transverse Vs. Longitudinal engine, to say the least), let...
Definitely, I have known many heavily modded slow DSM'ers....Getting into the high 11's is relatively easy, it's when you wanna go faster in a street car you start to look a new paths, not often walked. Its more fun IMNSHO.
You were wrong and tried to tell him he was. Stop.He said it as a joke, not as unhelpful advice. I understood the joke quite readily. You made yourself look dumb a hell, and then got butthurt. At no point in this thread was he technically wrong. YOU WERE. Then you're trying to win this...
Well, from what I have heard, the G4CS block(2.4l sohc 8.7:1) that people use to build 6 bolt 2.4 liters, when combined with a 4G63 head, makes 12:1 compression, this sucks for turbo, but it means that for 250 bucks you could have a 2.4 liter dual cam high compression engine with strong...
The car, halfway through a pass at the track, stopped running. There is now no spark. I have tried swapping power transistors to no avail, the AFC still reads rpm from the cas, so the cas is not the issue. The idea that BOTH coils broke at the same time is silly...So any ideas?BTW, the...
Theres no competition for how much better paint looks then powdercoating when done right, its just not quite as durable. You will never get the same finish with powdercoating you will with paint and a clear coat, and some wet sanding love.
These days people are getting Garret T3/T4's with custom turbine housings that bolt up to the stock exhaust manifold. They are 800-1k, and can be found at a variety of shops...www.rnrrcaing, www.agpturbo.com etc....Best bov is the stock 1g, followed by the type S.
Thats possible. You assemble the engine, with all the torque thats ever goign to be applied in assembly applied, then if its in alignment, it shoud not walk...Is it possible the block is thin and misaligns at high rpms or under high load? That I do not know. But it seems to me that crank walk...
Yep, I wouldn't even bother trying to help someone who doesn't know the purpose of a period.I would like for you many call helpdunnowhat i need just call yeah thanksbye
