Also check the cables underneath of the shifter to see if they are allright, a bolt might have just come loose or something may have gotten in there. Worst case scenario is you pick up a new set of cables..

it could also be due to the cable rubbing against something, perhaps the inside of the throttle casing. You should be able to get a brand new throttle cable for like 50 bucks shipped from mistubishi graveyard, but i could be wrong...

Do they both have TD05H written on them? If so, look at the turbine blades; if there are double blades its a 16g, if the blades are single then its a 14b. I don't know how else to explain it besides that. Do a an image search for 14b and 16g turbine blades and you'll see what I mean. Good luck
