I'm seeing a lot of bottles without blow down tubes? wtf guys. Ever witness what happens when they pop the safety plate. Seriously if you are going to install it in the cabin with you or in the back hatch, the least you can do is run some extra an line out of the cabin If you dont want to drill...
ICS Titan Head Gasket for Mitsubishi 4G63
In the pictures follow the instructions, for correct and not correct. simple as that.
Wish they made one in 88mm is all. .3 mm is all the extra I got. when compressed it went to .2mm argh but no seal problems from the rings.

There is no countrywide or even statewide rule for abandoned vehicles. The statutes for obtaining ownership are usually defined by your state and/or town of residence. For a definitive answer contact your local department of motor vehicles and ask how to proceed. New Jersey, for example, offers...
Bringing back from the dead. cause I just had mine done at a price of 115 for Guide removal, Bronze guid install. Install oversized valves, cut seats ect. Lap them in, & Mill the head took off .005 shines like new money.I went in before he installed the springs and he showed me the seal on...

Had my 2.4 sitting for 9 months without the head on it in a trash bag on the stand with clp in cylinders. turned it over once a week or so and re lubed. It was still perfect when the head went on. just keep an eye on the block surface, if you had it cut.
Rebuild a completely different head or find someone to weld it and grind/smooth it back down then just resurface the head. Up to you on that one but I would just get it welded. it more than likely (depending on the weld job) be stronger afterward anyhow. Looks similar to a dry shot nitrous blow...
blue viton means nothing, the color is just that a color. Does not make it any better quality. I can eat some blue crayons and drop a blue turd, and it will still be a turd.
All I can say is do what you want. Just don't do like most and buy cheap parts and install them then wonder why your...
Had the same problem when I got mine to top it off the guy put a tall + terminal for some sterieo junk and well, now my heat shield on my hood has a burn hole in it and it grounded into the hood. To top it all off the group of wires were barely in the terminal and Had to wiggle all the time to...
starting the engine swap tomorrow. So I gave the ol 2.0 a last spin tonight, and guess what one of my downpipe bolts came out and it is barely hanging on. :rolleyes:But that is a problem I don't have to worry about. It was just helping me take it apart!!!
1: used just for spoolup purposes, once the turbo is hitting 20psi Nitrous is no longer needed.
2: Dont want to shift while any of it is in there or going. anyhow as the solenoid switch cuts it off no matter when I shift, If I'm not at 20psi by 6k then something is seriously wrong>

My msd window switch set at 3000 on 6000 off. But also have a Hobbs pressure switch to cut solenoid power once 20lbs of boost pressure is met. but it all starts with the micro switch on the TB and the master arm in the cabin. Hmmm 4 switches to achieve one outcome. So once Im at full throttle...
Mitsubishi Fuso FM 555 New Turbo 6D-16 Engine: eBay Motors (item 220324685295 end time Oct-26-10 09:46:46 PDT)found it on ebay td07s is it a 25g? fuso truck turbo, If so don't anyone else get it! I found it.:thumb:
So he removed the crank as well and checked the mains. Installed a gauge and mic'd the end play or just reckoned it was walking due to basic bearing wear?CRANKWALK best sales pitch for selling 6 bolt parts since the 90's....
Posted in the newbie forum, he is correct in asking Here, Not everyone starts of knowing everything!!! No need to be a dick because he has a low post count, ahhummm. Not everyone posts every free chance they get.Now on to your problem.Go into the marketplace and look in the parts catalog See...
Um so you want to spray before the intercooler, so it cools it right? well the way I see it the nitrous cools the air in itself Nitrous=Think of it as a Compressed Liquid intercooler. Along with the added effect of the o2 breaking away inside the cylinder.
This can be done by either instructing...
Just because you dont have oil in your coolant and vise versa doesn't mean its not a head gasket. Done a compression test? You may find your answer there.
4g64 is a 7 bolt g4cs is the 6 bolt, Same mounting as the 7 bolt 63. Deck hight is what is taller. You use your mounts on that motor. Are you going to retain the sohc top end?
Ok I just picked up a used quartermaster twin disk clutch, Inside disk measures .249 outer .241 not bad...:hellyeah:Now on to my question, It didn't include the flywheel. Where are these things, does anyone sell just the flywheel for a 7 bolt awd?
Crower spring allows for more cam lift than factory springs will allow, simple as that, not more pressure. A starting point for "their" 280* cams, not for others as stated above of course.
On the tube coming out of the turbo compressor. As long as it is larger than the compressor outlet it is fine just don't go Large/Small/Large. Small/Large/Large is :thumb: Let me guess, used the smaller pipe to run past the fans.
1. True aftermarket, brand unknown so up to you. Retainers are more than likely titanium, not steel.
2. I want to say stay with the 2 1/2 piping, when your ic exits are 2 1/2 that is your choke point in a 3" system, and would be pointless.
Have picked one up! them Bi***es is heavy. No really That is what I have now. Already on the car, that 14b is pissing in the wind in that big of exhaust, but planned ahead and already put it on. Well damned if I don't I'll still have to take the DP off again. Has a port for a wideband installed...
Ok not a blog, just some questions.OK I've been slowly building this motor for 2 years and it is time. The motor is done, (well almost, you tell me) I can tell cause all the empty parts boxes laying around, instead of being fullspecs:BOTTOM END
2.4 4g64 yes 7bolt:thumb: no worries...
They say if you can run a penny across the journal and see any copper its no go. I'd be afraid to do that on that journal though as it might just swallow your penny. Yes It is toast..
make sure your 2nd fan is kicking on. yes electrical can cause this, as you have relays and such that activate the fans. or if your ac fan isn't plugged up.
But to really answer your problem your engine makes the coolant temp raise, the elec. part is just the fans that keep it cool.....
small gas tank, I was doing the same driving to and from work 60mi a day, and started to complain, but the awd tank only holds what? 12 gallons. You are only going to use a certain amount of fuel, the rest is returned to the tank.
Valve float? Always heard the sign of valve float is mugged up tops on the valve stems.
And for the 1 being the worst= the weakest spring.
I would check the other end as well as the slamming action can mushroom the head side from it slamming the seat. = easy way to tell if you have done this...
oh oh let me correct myself as well....No force is applied by it.
We use a Tuned absorber I should be saying rather than "damper" or "balancer"/<<what they are commonly refered to!
It does not dampen or balance the crank. Using a rubber spring element and a inertia ring that is set to the...
yep, Now imagine that flywheel moving at full speed, if any out of balance occurs at say 5000rpm, while your applying clutch pressure and releasing it. How do you think that affects the far side of the crank, where a damper would add the necessary balance on the other end to counter the...
