Ok just as it states, when I took my head apart there was some light surface rust on some of the lobes on the cams. so FINALLY I am getting around to re-assembling my car & I just want to know if any one else has seen this & what is the recommended method to remove the rust from my cams?
Hey Every one,
Wondering how many here work for Satan, reason I ask(please dont bash) is I may have a job working for a local dealer here & wanted to know if any one cares to give their opinion on the Po's & Con's o working for Satan!
well you have a few option here, first you could go to Autozone (or any auto parts store) & rent the correct tool menttioned previously & that will work. or this is the method I used & posted to answer this question 51 timesI had the same problem & this is what worked for me,
now if i...
:thumb: Not sure how your state works but when cars in MN have titles that are rebuildable or distruction or Salvage I believe they have to pass an inspection of some sort that deems them to be safely driven again & it not a real big deal but obviously the re-sale wont be as good. sounds like a...
would Check out partsdinasour.com it has plenty of honorable mentions throught this site. I have ordered things from them as well & the prices are some of the best with quick accurate service. also the motor is a 420A Chrysler motor so if the site referrances that dont worry it is correct. :thumb:
Hey man I am in the process of doing the same thing & am 2 steps ahead of you right now, first i know what you mean about the caps (they dont seem to fit) however they do, it is tight so lube the ends & then line the caps up & slide them on, you have to do it evenly or they wont go. & then it is...
oddly enough some one just posted this & I just finished reading it.

I too would love to have the AWD Spyder & does not see too dificult to do provided you have the tools, know how, money, parts, & patience.
Ok so I am sure I am asking for it but hey here is the scoop.
I messed my stock crank pulley up & now i need a new one & found this beaut here, question is are these ok to use or not really? if not does any one have any recomendations? i am on a budget so this of course seemed appealing...
From What I understand common causes of blue-ish smoke for these cars would be either rings or valve seals. there maybe more thing than that & I am willing to bet some one here may have a few more options. I think a leak down test would determin more. lets up know what the probem ends up being...
well, first what color is the smoke? white-ish= coolant & Blue-ish= oil.
2and if you knoe how to do a compression test or a leak down test? Alot of people here will request you start there before they can help you any farther.
3rd does your oil look like Chocolate Milk? what you can do also...
Yeah from the sounds of it you may have yourself a HG issue (welcome to the club). do the compression test & if possible do a leak down test, if you are still not sure (or just want to cut straight to it) take the vale cover off & look for Chocolate milk A.K.A coolant in your oil.
if it is a white-ish smoke inwitch it kinda looks to me,I would think it is a head gasket. I am sure some one will chime & confirm or give another possible option.White Smoke= HG
Blue Smoke =Rings, Turbo, ECT> oil in general.I am sure most people will tell you to do a compression & or...
Ok yeah it had been sitting a while & did have a head gasket issue (not sure it that matters) but I did bag it all so it should not have got any worse. However there is some on there & I need to know what the best way to remove it from the cams with out damaging them? any ideas would be appreciated!

Yeah I am sure it not the preferred method but just trying to give possible alterrnatives, I had the same issue & for some reason it came right off! thats kinda why i mention the Slowly part, I wouldnt recommend wrenching the daylight out of it. if you try it just do it with cautions as with...
I had the same problem & this is what worked for me,
now if i remember correctly i took a 1/4 drive 6 inch extention, insert that into the bolt hole, (it is made to hold that so you can turn the crank with a ratchet). place 3 jaw puller in place incerting the center into the 1/4 drive portion &...
Well out of the list you provided & the vette I would take the Colbalt for practiallity, they are pretty sweet i test drove one out of curiosity & was pretty supprised at the potential it had... take in consideration it is already supercharged & probaply just needs a good tunning & maybe some...
I just got the game & so far the racing is pretty cool I like the damage aspect, BUT... so far from what i have seen you dont get a big selection of cars to choose from you get either 1 or 2 different cars to pick from & the maybe a paint scheme. Not fun I like GT & Forza because of all the...
I think you have to look beyond standard Radio & do some seaching or even check some local bands out you may find something worth your while & it is always cool to support you local music scene & who knows you may see ethe next big band before they are over played. check these out...

Jordan is what bryant wants to be, Bryant is good & sometimes the commentators IMO are a bit off. like said above he was the apittomy of a team player something Bryant dose not get no matter what language it is writtin in.but he is starting to get it a little bit.

well since you asked, if your goal is to obtain a 4g63 than save your cash & buy one, the 420a ( i have one ) is reliable stock so you can drive it daily save a ton on gas money cause the turbos will eat you alive kinda. This allows you to have a good reliable DD & dont forget still a sweet...
