I wanted to update this thread. Apparently the seal on the 74mm s90 is different than the 70mm s90. That being said, these seals that I have referenced only work on the 70mm variant.
No, you don't need to change it. Just make sure that ecmlink is reading the correct pin for the wideband, doesn't matter which one. I assume you're simulating nbo2, so make sure that is set correctly also.
-6 will be fine. I actually use the factory feed line for my return, works great. Not sure if you're AWD, but if you are, don't forget to drill out your siphon.
Alright, so after finally getting fed up with my leaking s90 TPS side throttle shaft and temperamental idle, I decided to tear into it. Previously I was under the impression that there were no seals at all in the s90 and only ball bearings on the shaft. There is a seal! The seal is...
Alright, so maybe I'm putting the cart before the horse here and need to get idle dialed in better, but I went for a quick cruise around the block and am getting something weird going on. It is cycling between closed loop and open loop when it shouldn't be. Whenever it flips it goes super lean...
After a long stent away from dsmlink over to AEM i'm back to ECMlink! This is the first idle log after getting everything setup and although I feel like i have an okay understanding of things, it's great to get some more experienced eyes on this. Quick pertinent mod list:2.0l

Alright, thread resurrection. I have an early 95 GSX, bought this kit mainly for the control arms. Do I need to replace the knuckle in an early 95 for the newer control arms to fit correctly? Or are all 2g front knuckles the same?
I'm with Wes, no real benefit in a wasted spark configuration. Need a CDI box to make them worth a shit at high boost without having to close gaps down ridiculously small.
You don't have a J-pipe. You have a t-25, your boost source is right here, under the intake pipe.Install your MBC between that nipple and the wastegate actuator.
How can you not follow the vacuum line from the wastegate? Where do you lose them, do they go back towards the cab?Yes, your BOV is vented. That RFL is not designed to be recirculated.
Recirculated blow off valves have a tube connecting them to the intake pipe, like so:If you are saying...
I'm not sure what turbo that is but it looks like a downward firing one, where you will not need a 'J-pipe'. Looks like the bolt holes on the outlet side of the wastegate are empty, so he probably never had a dump tube hooked up to it. Usually there is a dump tube somewhat like this so the...
Looks really good! I wrapped my GSXR a couple years ago, and while it looks great when it's done, it starts looking crappy pretty quickly. I think a bike is more prone to getting dinged up since a person is getting on and off of it constantly. Hope your's holds up for you, it really is a...
That is the correct size bit and tap for that fitting, it should work. As long as you're sure that is the bit size you used and you have the right fitting, I don't see how it couldn't fit right. Did you hold the drill bit up to the fitting and make certain it wasn't too big?
I would just drill it out and heli-coil it back to stock size, I've done it numerous times without issue. No matter what you do, be absolutely certain you don't drill too deep and go through a water jacket or something worse. An easy way is to just take some tape and mark your drill bit at the...
If you are absolutely out of room, you can always go with a forward facing oil filter housing. You lose oil cooling of any kind, although I've been using one for quite some time and have seen no ill-effects.
I honestly don't know, this thread seems to have some good information about the potential of a t28 and/or fp big t28.http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/268246-garret-big-t28-fp-big-t28.html
First of all, to beat a dead horse, you shouldn't be venting your BOV with a stock air metering system. Did you plug your MAS back in? Have you done a boost leak test since installing the FMIC? What type of BOV are you using, and do you have the reference line hooked up to the intake...
I have true retrofit 5k bulbs in TSX projectors, and it is by far one of the best 'mods' I've done to my car. Too many deer out here to not be able to see at night!
Yep, you're correct. Also, if anybody is looking for a 3 pin connector that fits, most PC fan extensions are a perfect fit. Just google '3 pin pc fan extension' or look on ebay, they're everywhere.Looks like this:
I wouldn't be too concerned. The belt between the cams will naturally develop slack at rest because of the tension from the valve springs holding the cams in a certain position. The slack is even worse with bigger cams.
Alright, so I' m getting a tru-boost, but I already have an AEM 5 bar MAP sensor for use with my AEM ecu. I assume I can use this for the tru-boost also, but am not sure? If I can, is it possible to buy the pigtail for the 3 pin plug on the back of the tru-boost in order to run the wires to...
Alright, so is this single pump now the best(easiest) option for e85? Would placing an 044 in-line hinder or help the performance of this pump? I imagine it would hinder the flow more than it would help, being that the 044 would then be the pressure pump and the in-tank would primarily just be...
I'm bringing this back alive. I've been looking around, and can't find anybody off hand who has done this bulkhead to the return line. DSM4LIFE, did you ever figure out how to hook it back up to the siphon? I know I've seen Paul Volk's return where he just welded the AN fitting on the top of...
Why are you running it through the AFPR first? Run from the tank to a -8 fuel filter to the rail then -6 from the rail to the AFPR for return. This setup has been used quite a bit and is enough for a lot of power.
Are you familiar with efi tuning at all? Have you ever personally used AEM?I would also say go with dsmlink. I've used/owned both, and am still using AEM. Yes it will do about anything you want it to, but you have to know how to make it do that, or pay somebody that does. Dsmlink does...
Glenn, I thought those regulators strictly regulated the pressure to the HLA's, and did not affect the turbo feed pressure port? I could be completely wrong on that, now I'm curious.I may have to change the oiling for my BW also, unfortunately. I have it fed from the head right now, but I...
This is ECMTuning speed density bundle: ECMTuning, Inc.Benefits include not having to worry about having a MAS taking up space in the intake tract, boost leaks aren't as big of an issue, if it's your sort of thing, you can properly vent a BOV this way.Here:sd101 [ECMTuning - wiki]
A MAP(manifold absolute pressure) sensor, IAT(intake air temperature) sensor and a way to control it. It estimates airflow using pressure, temperature, and extrapolates volume to an extent. As opposed to a MAS system that actually meters the air coming into the engine.
