Ive had this unresolved issue for awhile: Ill drive my car on my way home from work (40 minutes) its at operating temperature and ill stop at the store go in come out after 20 minutes and it wont start... it'll fire but struggle and then die... i can sometimes by gas'ing it get it to go if not...
definitely has not fixed it, if i let the car sit, 10-40 minutes after it is up to normal operational temp, it will not start it will fire but will die or have terrible idle and bog out if i hit the throttle, if i let it sit for an hour or more, it will start idle fine but a little low. no clue :-/
i changed the coolant temp sensor (15 bucks?) and i dont believe it has fixed it. what are other causes? ailing fuel pump? injectors when hot? im confused.:banghead:
So I need a new throttle cable, and i would rather not have the mess of cruise control all together. What will i need if anything extra other than a non-cruise control throttle cable? Do i need the box from a non? Hopefully someone else has done this ROFL (i dont think i've used cruise...
hubs! we've replaced drivers side axle, the passenger side needs replaced but the hub/bolt is seized up.tried that, try lubing her and everything, its seized big time
Yea pretty sure it's seized up! The drivers side came right off. Also that site only has the rear ones for 91 tsi's where can I get ones for the front? Or are they the same??Does anyone know if they rears are the same as the front or where I can get the fronts
I'm in desperate need of a replacement cv axle on the passenger side of my awd Tsi, but when we took off the wheel the hub seems to be froze up to the axle and the center nut won't budge. So I'm assuming I need a new wheel hub and bearing assembly, but cannot find them anywhere! Am I missing...

When my car is cool or sitting over night, it starts fine, once its running at operating temperature and i turn it off, it is difficult starting... if i leave it sit for 10 minutes or longer after being hot it acts up, turns offer will start but die, if i mess with the gas somtimes it will start...

do you guys fit in a 2g mas with a 2g intake? or do you use the 2g to 1g intake from dejon? i found a deal with the pipe couplers, filter and mas but its a #338? again do you guys know the difference?

ok i grounded it, now testing the volts of the ips... its at like 8volts... should i adjust it till its almost 0 with the throttle open? the ips is definitely touching now wont adjusting it more possibly hold the throttle open slightly at idle?

as for right now the only issue i have is getting the the idle correct, after putting on the tps it's close, but I dont have the tools needed to set the TPS correctly...when i ground the two places vfaq says and set the biss to about 800-850rpm's remove and check the idle is at 1,100 at...

if i hear anything i think its the turbo spooling but nothing really on shift, i hear my 3'' exhaust ROFL... if it wasn't working or blowing off there would negative side affects i would notice correct?
it was crappy, because it was an RFL LOL... and it vented and i definitely need it recirculating... plus it had an adapter so it would fit a 1g flange, and I believe that adapter was leaking ROFL
well its stock crap intake pipe, stock intercooler pipe and a pretty thick piece of hose used for recirculation... could be why i dont hear anything? (and stock boost)

yea autozone here is usually cheaper for basic stuff... but 2 months ago i bought a cv axle they gave it too me and it was wayyyy wrong it was definitely fwd or something and they insisted that was right, I had to walk the guy out and roll him under the car to show him that an AWD was like half...
not sure what you mean? im gonna go see if i can get 1 1/4''... i have a piece of 1'' that i cut too short and well it doesnt fit anyway, its super tight on the bov... and doesnt fit the intake tube... doesnt help i still have that horrible stock intake tube that gives u no room.
When I first got my 1g it had a turboXS pos bov and i just picked up a 1g bov and I need the hose that goes from the bov to the intake, i got a piece of 1'' and it does not fit, anyone know any ideas or share what they did! help i have it torn appart and i need this back together 2nite :)...
it comes with a charging dock that i could spice into power :) it says it comes with some instructions to mounting the dock in the coin slot of a 1g... :Dill definitely hit you with a pm man!
