I can only say what's needed for a 2g AWD conversion. I'm sure 1G AWD conversion is also possible but, i won't speculate on that. Why not just swap the engine over to the 92 AWD laser?

Here's a tip to anyone that plans on attempting such task.You need a AWD starter plate/spacer that goes between the engine and the tranny. With out the Awd plate the starter wont fit. Every tech article on FWD to AWD conversion fails to mention this part.

The coolant will only be visible in the throttle body and, the intake manifold it self. Look inside your throttle body and the intake manifold it self. Look for green coating on the walls.

Nope. the exhaust hangers bolt in. The only welding that needs to be done is to the drive shaft bracket. Also all the rear control arms are the same just the hub is different. I've done this conversion 3 times now. Not hard but, very time consuming. Good luck to you Sir.

What's so special about 4g63. The whole point is the AWD. You could throw on a turbo kit on to the current 4g with a v6 in it and, make more power than you would with a 4g63. The whole point is putting the power to the ground and, not in to white smoke.
