I agree, sounds like the e-brake warning switch being faulty which is located under the center console. Or it could be the low fluid level indicator switch, which is located under the brake fluid reservoir.
My AWD has a TRE in it and has been in it for over 3 years. Car made 385awhp the first 2 years and the past year made 498awhp. Trans has around 5k miles on it and is only driven when raced. Havent had one issue with it.Im currently having Jacks rebuild my daily driver gst trans. After i get...
I have seen people that want to use the backseats have the bars of the cage that run to the hatch area custom bent so the seat is still operational. Although if you have ever sat in a rear seat with any kind of roll bar or cage its very annoying. Ive never sat in the rear of a 2g with a cage but...
Have you tried to back the BISS out 1 whole turn and drive the car to see if the problem gets worse or better. I had the same issue on my 98 car and it was caused by the BISS being screwed in too far. Without using dsmlink try backing the BISS screw out and using trial and error. Ive never used...
haha yes he did... at least im not the only one on here that remembers seeing this car run. The reason i have owned dsms is because of watching him run that GN down dorsey rd.
Hey guys. Looking for some input from people running a Forward Facing manifold like the STM setup where the turbo is kinda close to the bumper. Its a toss up between doing a bumper duct or turning the highbeam area on the driver side into a air duct. STM uses the 350Z style carbon fiber duct...
Some fans can be a pusher or puller fan. You just reverse the power and ground wires and flip the fan blades. The only real reason to install a pusher fan would be to either assist in a cooling effect of a puller fan or to make more room for turbo setups.
Brad Brooks tunes at Infinite Speed & Performance (ISP) located in rockville, md and he can also street tune that car if you have a wideband installed.
No those numbers were with a bolt on PTE6262id be interested in the size of those ball bearings tho. Ill be installing the FrontLine Fab rear dif cover this winter and ill pull the inner cups off again and measure the balls and check the cups for issues.Ive had those axles in the car...
I myself have NON-LSD axles with LSD inner CUPS. Car runs fine. I dont understand why you guys have problems. Car has put down over 500awhp with them.I had the same issue looking for LSD axles when i snapped the rear dif cover and caused the axles to ripe out of the cv boots which ended up...
def looks as though the bumper needs shaved in some areas to fix that squished look. Thats exactly how mine looked when the front bumper wasnt cut enough for the front mount. On your setup it maybe the IC pipes or FMIC causing that or even the 240 lip having a different bend then the 2gb bumper.
Why try to create the flutter if you want to get rid of it. I suggest the OP check for boost leaks. Fix all boost leaks he can possibe fix and then go from there. You would be surprised what a few new gaskets, zip ties, new vaccum lines and some RTV sealant will do for your cars performance...
im not much on smaller pullies, never really used them. I just hate having voltage issues/drops. Going with the 160amp should solve my issues. Especially stepping up from the stock alternator.
Have any of you tried the other AMP options for the motor city alternators.... They have the 105amp, 160amp and 200amp. Are there any advantages going with the 160 or 200 over the 105.
I have had my JB 6262 for years. never rebuilt and never babied. 29-30psi made 499-500awhp on a mitsu flange. And i have no oil restrictor. oil feed comes from the head, and oil return is a -12.
i had a problem like this one time. I installed the alternator tensioner wrong which caused the alternator tensioner bolt to rub the powersteering belt until it shreded like your describing.See if you can get us a pic of how your setup is once you have it together again before you drive...
This mod was done to a fresh head. Cut maybe one time. Since i have installed this head im having trouble with oil being pushed out the oil cap. I have tried 3 new caps and seals with no luck. Even tried to install 2 new seals on one cap. still no luck.
Im def interested in the theme. Let me know when its finished and what the theme will be called. i have a 2g id contribute with when your ready for those.I have a buddy that has some nice pics. But i cant upload on my govt computer. I can text them to 25psi talon.
