Every 100 pounds is a tenth of a second you have less weight. Also big turbo on nos more lag small turbo less lag. A gt40 is a big turbo to get moving. But I think he is full of it.

From 90-may of 92 is 6 bolt from there to 99 7 bolt all orignal 2g are 7 bolt. It is the same head gasket 90-99.

Most of the time when the dipstick comes out you need a new bottom end blowen rings. Do a compression check+white smoke. The dipstick come out because of compression going passed the rings.

I did not reply to the noise forgot you might be right. Grab the crank and pull and push check for play. It is brtter to have someone watch it is hard to see when you do it.

How do you know you have fuel on 1995-1999 the crank sensor controls the fuel pump. Pull and push on your crank to see if there is a lot of play. The crank might have walked it might get signal some times and give a little fuel.

It is a after market alarm with kill switch.

When the dowels are at 12:00 there are 4 marks on the cam gears that should line up with the top of the head. Also I would not turn it from the cam turn it from the crank. 1/2 scoket driver clock wise not backwards.

Look both dowels are up not on up one down. Yes the one for the timing some one was selling a built motor and he put the timing plate form his 7 bolt. The valves hit the piston because the timing was off on the crank.

You do not need to take off the cam gears just turn it 180 degrees and make sure you have your pistions down a little to be safe. I just thought about some thing else what plate did you use on your crank. Do not use the 7 bolt plate on a six bolt! I know some one that did it the out come was not...

The cam can only go one way sorry. I was talking about the cam gear was up side down. Meaning turn the cam 180 half way around.

I do not think it will work Your cam sensor screws in the cam. You will have to have it tapped to put your cam senser on the intake.

There are two marks on each side of the cam. You can put the cams up side down not good. Both dowels have to be up.

It does not look like the timing is off. But the picture is hard to see the dowel pins. The belt jumping I would say bad tensioner.

Its better with dry ice a 20oz hot diet coke but only a little coke and put the top on it and throw it. Don't hold on to it because it will explode in your hand and do some major damage. Now thats a boom.
