Ok update on this problem.. As i was driving i noticed its not always at 5k rpm its just whenever it goes from 7 to 14lbs of boost.. it starts to "Miss" or feels like it doesnt want to go and i have to let off. If i go WOT and it climbs to 7into14 its all bad.
A knock will throw the CEL light on. Especially if the sensor is malfunctioned. And yeah im gonna hook up my gauge tommorow and see what happens and put it this way when i get up to about 5k rpm it feels like the car is holding back.
I want to say a boost leak and i have a slight air leak by the exhaust manifold... Ill tune it up, but i got no check engine light if i had knock i would get a check engine light right?

Well i had one hell of a time finding out why my check engine light was on, First probelm knock sensor no good, Second o2 sensor bad. So my question is how could of these sensors went bad(Lets keep in my mind just rebuilt the motor bottom end). And is it hard to replace these sensors?

nah it wasnt coming from the crankshaft sprocket thats ok its dead on if you put your ear over the head kinda hot lol but you can hear it there the carfax on it was only 3 owners impounded twice lol and it only has 76,000 miles

HI guys well to make this brief i have had my 4g64 for about 6 months but i been having some problems with my starter i went through 3 in this time. is there anything other than the starter than can be causing this?

hmmm well the 1gen has a 14b and 2nd gen has a t-25 as far as aerodynamics thats just not much of help lol and if you were to dump equal money with the same setups the 1gen would overcome its 2nd gen commrade
Hi there guys well im finally installing my 14b i hope i can post in this forum but yeah here goes i been reading up on this turbo and installation but my main questions is i referred to the bolts and nuts on Chiltons manual on the nm listing of the bolts can they be purchased at any hardware...
