Hello fellow dsmers, Just picked up my new daily driver/tow vehicle. I'll be going to Palm Beach International this weekend to run my Hayabusa. It will be making it's first passes since completion. Stop by and say hi if you come out and see my jeep and bike. Here's what I picked up and my bike...
This happened to me last summer. It probably only bent the valves. Mine skipped timing when the B.S belt broke.. I removed the B.S and redid the valves/timing kit and has been good ever since. Go for it.
I will be doing this very soon, as soon as my car is up and running. I have a pioneer headunit with the rear camera option not in use.Thank you for sharing all this, I am placing my order from amazon as we speak.
Target leaving at 4000RPM with 12-14psi boost. I have a very similar setup, T67/.63 turbine housing. IPT converter tho. Are you using alcohol past 20 psi and nitrous only to stall?Any chance you can take a video?
I've seen your car in a magazine a long, long time ago and i'm sure I still have that magazine somewhere. Your car was running a GT35R in the article. Great to see you on DSMTUNERS. Looking forward to your build.
I measured my headgasket before installing it and the center is indeed bigge, outer edges are the real thickness compressed #'s to go by. I would not worry about your compression changing more than .2-.3 with a thicker headgasket.
I would personally get an unturned crank and even try to find rods that will accept non oversized bearings. I had major issues 2dsm's ago with a 7bolt talon that had a turned crand and rods that were.02 over, kept chewing up bearings until it crankwalked.
I have a stock power rack minus the PS pump/lines and it's a 8 when parallel parking. Driving it above 10mph is a 2 as far as effort. Above 30mph you can't really tell there's no PS.
