I blew a fuse and from the radio wires cause they were cut and now my ecu don't work I hooked up the data logger and the ecu has no communication with the engine I have checked the fuses under dash and in engine bay, are there anymore fuses that I don't know about that would cause my power loss...
if you are not sure on if you have the timming mark right pull the number 1 spark plug, stick a long screw driver in the hole and if the piston is all the way to the top then you have it on time if it is not on top then you have the little plate on backward good luck hope this helps you out

don't get all scared just stop by a junk yard and find a 1.8 TEL and pull the non cruise cable quick fix for cheap and then you can take out the box don't worry about the plug it don't hurt anything

just to make it simple you have to use 6 bolt bearings on both 7 bolt rods and 6bolt rods but from what I read you are wanting to put 7 bolt pistons on 6 bolt eagles and you can't do cause the size of the pin is different between the 7 bolt 22mm pin and the 6 bolt 21mm pin
You know installing a intercooler kit on a 1g and 2g is completely different and I have done both but custom fabing my pipes on my 2g was a lot of fun. I know hope you get everything squared away Good luck

All you guys leaving off the starter plates need to watch the bolts that bolt your tranny to the motor cause with out a starter plate it is easy for the bolts to vibrate loose
That plug is just for the cruise control box you might want to check the injectors to see if they are stopped up with junk inside and they wont fire like that so check those out and see what happens
Check you plugs if you have high EGT's you might have opened up the spark plugs and you car is blowing the spark out also check your timming if you coil is ok check those two nest my homeboy was haveing the same problem changed his plus and fixed everthing

To be on the safe side me personally I went all out on forged internals. It's safer than stock with good tunning it will handle anythingyou throw at it. Keep tunning in mind when build any part of the motor.
